Hi everybody,
You might have wondered why the 
Dutch national selection took a break for edition 64. Well, that was because I was working on this very special project for the following edition! Some time ago I dropped the idea to actually send myself as the Dutch representative for my 25th 'anniversary' as WWWSC player, and in that light I was glued to a cheap mic and a laptop recording covers (some of which were suggested by you guys!)
Dutch national selection took a break for edition 64. Well, that was because I was working on this very special project for the following edition! Some time ago I dropped the idea to actually send myself as the Dutch representative for my 25th 'anniversary' as WWWSC player, and in that light I was glued to a cheap mic and a laptop recording covers (some of which were suggested by you guys!)As I couldn't control myself, one song followed the next, until I found out that I already had 20 covers. That proved a bit too much to just throw at you in full in my regular NS style, so I saw no choice but to split the field in two halves and create two (very basic) recaps. Please don't cringe at them, I've never made recaps before, and they were not meant to be pretty. (Hopefully my vocal skills are better than my recap-making skills

).FResultswise, I know I'm taking a huge risk here, as I'm in no way a professional singer (nor aspiring to be one). But I just wanted to combine my love for singing with a way of doing something extra for my WWWSC anniversary. As the past 25 editions have given me great music and some relaxation in an often busy time, I thought it'd be fun to give something personal to this contest in return.

The top 5 from both semifinals will proceed to the Grand Final, the winner of which will be the
