MINI CHALLENGE
From London to Ibiza, straight to LA. From Paris to Tokyo. We've heard it all. We're travelling the whole wide world and write songs about it. Beautiful, sunny places and holidays is what we're lusting for. But what if you had the choice to make our own little paradise? What if we could create our own Drag Country?
Flag Me
Ladies, for our next mini challenge, you will have to design and present a flag that would belong to your Drag Country. You can make it basic (for basic queens) or extravagant (for fierce queens). The choice is yours, but the flag has to represent what you stand for as a queen.
Please present your flag creations in this thread by Tonight, 14 August 2018 at 23:00CET.

Scarlett's FlagWe proudly present you Scarlett von Kock's flag, created with love and dedication. It represents the many many facets of Scarlett: First of all the flag consists of a lot of colorful borders leading to a thick pink box in the center, representing Scarlett's lovable and bubbly side. The colors were inspired by the pride flag, proving once again that she likes big kock and she cannae lie, just like her sweet drag daughter Anal Koral. Let's get to the symbolism: Most noticeable is the hammer and sickle. While Scarlett is not a communist, she supports equality and hard work, which she tries to implement in her art as a drag queen. The flame represents the passion and energy inside of Scarlett. She may be a mess but she is an energetic mess!. The snake does not stand for her being a two-faced bitch like Taylor Swift but rather the fact that when attacked, she will bite you right back. If we look at the house of Slytherin, the snake also represents ambition, which counts for Scarlett's journey in the race. At next we have the trident which is Scarlett's version of Adore Delano's polish remover™. Instead of looking fishy, she prefers picking the beauty gals apart and being a unique self, rather than a pageant model. Finally, we have the crown. Scarlett likes to pretend that it represents her future but in reality it's just a plastic McDonald's crown she received from Daniel after winning her third mini challenge in a row. At least she's slaying something so far! Obviously, the flag is a hot chaotic mess but that's how Scarlett can be sometimes. It's as full of personality as her!

Andrélle
Andrélle's drag aesthetic is a combination of two major factors; classic glamour and her Cypriot heritage, and this is what I'm trying to reflect in the flag of my drag country. The former is represented in the flag by the selection of a flower as the main aspect of it and the latter is represented by choosing the Cyclamen Cyprium (Cyprus Cyclamen), a subgenus of the cyclamen, as the flower to be used as it is endemic to Cyprus, native to our mountains, and it is also our nation's national flower. Lastly, I chose the purple for the background as it represents Andrélle's beauty and grace while also being the main colour of the Cyprus Cyclamen. Hope you like it!

ROBYN BANKS | The flag is solely made up of shades of purple, showing Robyn's creativity, wisdom, elegance, nobility, beauty and ambition.
The circles in the flag also resemble a shield which represents Robyn's principles and her will to fight and protect anyone's rights when necessary.
And finally, the star; well it's obviously because she's a superstar. |

Fluicadé This week's mini-challenge comes with a ever so needed coming out and a personal journey that occupied me for most of this year, and no better way to present it than via this song race, supposedly.
Upon you, the flag of Fluicadé :deriv. from "fluid" as in gender- -fluid and adé from aded, a word describing a competed action as in "I got fluidaded" in this very context.
The colour pattern has been derived from the pride flag of individuals declaring themselves as transgender and similar, in an altered form that displays a fading day on the left side with a darkening blue sky, traditionally symbolized by the masculine elements, followed by the typical pink for femininity and white being a declared buffer colour between the two. In the natural habitat, you may discover that while the sky darkens and the dawn sets, the sky may occasionally turn pink before the fading of the blue sky.
As night sets, we are undergoing a change - not only in the outside world but for us, individuals, as well. It's these dark fading hours that symbolize the change in my personality and the discovery that not everything is what may seem by daylight. It's beneath the grace of the stars and the cosmos that I can be myself fully and embrace this fact with pride, not being faced with guilt.
My gender identity is my everlasting barricade that keeps me from fully integrating into our society, embracing social contacts and hidering my development, thus this sensitive subject is something I strive to come through as a winner.
As a reference point and inspiration I'd like to announce Blair St. Clair's song "Barricade", featuring the broad message put forward in a heavy pop anthem.
