Callum's Critiques
And just like in jESC, you all get 12 points! Only this time without the pity.

WEB DIVA TULLA LUANA®'S CRITIQUES One of the best weeks so far without a doubt. Anna Skinnybreadqueen
Miss Anna... I've actually seen an improvement considering your entry last week! "Toi, La Musique et Moi" gives me a lot of good feelings and despite not being a fan of the "Retro" Eurovision, this entry makes me want to go back and watch all these editions since the very first one. It's still true that by having Monaco you'd have to send a retro song either way, therefore it's not something I should take into account at judging your song, and if you considered sending something between 2004 and 2006 I'm really worried about you. Either way, I'm really glad of your choice, keep it like this!
Andrélle
This is such a choice. I wasn't really expecting this at all taking into account everything Georgia has sent, but also considering that you were given the country, there wasn't a better choice you could make. With this, I don't want to say that every other choice would have been dragged at least by me, but this is like the perfect choice. Such a robbed Eurovision gem. As I told Anna, I'm also seeing a significant improvement since your previous entries.
Coal O'Ral
Oh, Miss O'Ral... You knew the way to get into my heart... "Todas as Ruas do Amor" brings me all the positivity and nostalgia in the world. The message of the song, the performance, the clothing, the vocals, the instrumentals, the language, the man dancing with the drums, the culture. EVERYTHING. Unlike many other entries from any country any year, you could say this actually represents the country they're being sent from in every aspect.
Eu estou orgulhosa de você, beijos estrelados. Eu tô fora de mim. LINDA.
Gemma Collins
I actually enjoyed this too. As I said to Miss Anna, this makes me want to rewind and get to see all the retro Eurovision editions. Still, the only problem I found is that this sounds like any other song of the time. It obviously stands out between the songs of this challenge, since it's the oldest and you can see the difference between it and any other song, but that's it. If the challenge consisted of Eurovision songs of the 60s this would sink. But don't get me wrong, I really liked the song.
Shemalena Gomez
Uh, what to say... I don't really know. I personally see "Sanomi" too much of a safe choice. I believe that Belgium is a really special country at Eurovision, especially last century, which had a lot of gems. I'm not going to lie, "Sanomi" is also a gem, but as a choice for this challenge it left me cold.
Weedy Williams
I must admit that you're lucky that we get to listen to the full songs. At least, in my opinion, there is a huge difference between the verses (which are by a huge difference better) and the chorus. I'd still like to praise you for selecting this entry, it's not something anyone else would have done if they had received Greece.

Valérie's critiques
What was that week.. ? All except one have managed to deliver a great entry this week, that it was hard to make a ranking, as I loved 7/8 songs.
But sadly, on a bunch of performances, there is some good and bad things, and i'll try to show them to you.
Weedy Williams Greece 1992 shows pretty much what we wanted, an iconic entry. Your entry particularly shows how the 90's was a golden period for Greece at Eurovision.
Andrélle Andrélle, my dear, I won't lie to you, but after that the countries were given, you were the one that I had the most hope in, and I must say, you didn't disappointed us.
However, Visionnary Dreams sounded a bit like an obvious choice, seeing who are the other judges members. I do believe that their others entries like 2010 or 2015 would have scored as good as 2007 to us.
Ana Skinnybreadqueen Ana, seeing your country given, I must say that you have done your best, but sadly, on a strong week, that wasn't enough... However, I appreciate that you've decided to go with one of their retro entry and not one from 2004-2006.
Shemalena Gomez Again, I do love Sanomi, and I appreciate it as it's my favorte of 2003, but I feel like it sounded like an obvious choice... as it was at 2 points of winning the contest that year (blame Slovenia). I feel disappointed at you after what you served to us on the lasts weeks.
Coal O'Ral When you've picked Portugal, I expected you to pick their 2008 entry, which is one of their best, but no, you've come with their 2009 entry, which is still good, and which was underrated. You've served us a great week with this one.
Gemma Collins My dear Gemma, I am sorry, but for me, you are the flop of this week. Coal has given you a great country with a great Eurovision history, and you serve us this.. ?
On a strong week like this one, you didn't made yourself a favour with going retro... and unlike Ana, you could have gone with one of their recent entry.
•••••
Keep up the good songs, girls!

KATHLEEN'S CRITIQUES
(Will make this look better once I get home but unattractive critiques are better than no critiques x)
Good evening slags!
Ana Skinnybreadqueen - This was a cute choice for a fairly difficult country. The song maybe didn't stand out amongst this particular crowd but yet again another solid entry from you.
Andrélle - Once again you've served a brilliant entry! A great choice, one that wasn't really obvious either. You're really consolidating your place as a top contender in this competition.
Coal O'Ral - You, on the other hand, are on a bit of a rollercoaster. Like Scarlett least week you suffered from being able to pick your own country and as such this felt quite average. Not bad, but got lost.
Gemma Collins - This was GORGEOUS. A brilliant risk that for me really paid off. Others might not have enjoyed this but keep doing this sort of thing and you'll always have my support.
Shemalena Gomez - Honestly, I was disappointed by this. I didn't enjoy the song at all, and the choice just felt a bit safe. I know Belgium isn't the best country to get though, and you can definitely do better.
Weedy Williams - A lovely choice, again not hugely obvious. Not necessarily a stand out favourite but once again a very solid effort from you.

Lee Lin Chin 's Critiques
As the guest judge this week , I must say that i'm really impressed by the strong competition. Well done to everyone!
Anna Skinnybreadqueen Considering you probably had the hardest country this week, this is a great song choice. However, as previously mentioned this week was full of strong entries and it felt a bit "overshadowed" in comparison to the rest. Good job nonetheless.
Andrélle Honestly wow. This song is just phenomenal and I couldn't be happier that you made this choice. Definitely one of my all time faves in the contest and to this day it still feels as fresh and current as it did back then. Keep up the good work and you will go very far into the competition!
Coal O'Ral This is a very cute and nice entry and I think it really represents the whole atmosphere of Eurovision really well. I also really appreciate the originality and the portuguese sound of the song. It certainly contributes to Portugal's stunning history in the contest.
Gemma Collins Oh Gemma... Sadly, this was the only song of this week that I didn't quite like. Yes, I can see the originality in it but I feel like you could've done better choices. After all, Denmark has a quite rich history in the contest. It's not necessarily bad, but against the whole competition this week it just doesn't do it for me.
Shemalena Gomez Another brilliant entry that makes this week even harder! Sanomi is indeed a very wonderful and unique song. To me, it's just admirable how a song can sound so good even in an imaginary language. Now on the "originality" aspect, i'm not gonna take it into consideration too much since Belgium's history in the contest isn't that good in my opinion. Therefore "Sanomi" was definitely one of the best possible choices you could make.
Weedy Williams Ah, back when Greece sent masterpieces! Not much to say about this marvelous piece of art. I just adore everything about it. The language, the message, the whole song just... it's excellent whew. Although I must say it wasn't the best possible choice, it is one to be proud of. Well done!
. . That's all from me, my queens Next time please be more patient, bye.
