FOUR ELEMENTS - AIR
Thomas Bergersen - "New Life" 3:18+
Personally, air represents optimism and the will and the faith to keep moving on regardless of the circumstances while also symbolizing the gift of (new) life and I'm confident that this song successfully represents both.

WORLD PEACE
The Cranberries - "Zombie" 3:06+
"Zombie" was inspired by the IRA (Irish Republican Army) bombing in Warrington, Cheshire, England on March 20, 1993 where two children, Jonathan Ball and Tim Parry, were killed. Despite being originally written as a protest and as a call for peace among England and (Northern) Ireland, I feel that this song and its meaning remain timeless and now represent the call of world peace, which unfortunately feels utopian nowadays because regardless if it's 1994 or 2018, "it's the same old theme since 1916".

Four Elements - Fire
■ Jesse Jo Stark ■ "Fire Of Love" ■ Fire represents our passions, our compulsion, our zeal, creativity, motivation, and most importantly, our love. Fire shows the warmth that is ever so present in love, for the fire of love burns,. Notably enough, the colour red represents sex, fire and love, but also, how quick fire can burn that love up. "Darling, since we've been broken - lipstick poisons this black rose - I wanna burn in the fire of love, tonight". 2:30+
Without Electronic Instruments
■ Tim Bernardes ■ "Recomeçar" ■ Recomeçar is an intrinsically personal song which shows Tim's emotional vulnerability due to the song's simplicity and beauty. In the video you can see Tim dismantle a piano key by key, which Tim says is to show that nothing is needed in his new beginning. However he adds that the strings and the frame of the piano remain, as a reminder that you cannot totally end your history, but that you can dismantle the weight that no longer concerns you in order to build something new in the structure that is life. The acoustic instruments shows off the core of the song, the meaning. 3:04+
World Peace
■ Amanda Palmer ■ "In Harm's Way" ■ Amanda Palmer's song "In Harm's Way" sings about the current refugee crisis that plagues our world. An unprecedented 65.6 million people have been displaced, forced from their homes. Among them are 22.5 million refugees, over half of whom are children under the age of eighteen. The song sings about world peace in that we do not currently have world peace, and that the world has forgotten to be generous. The video, which is one of the most heartbreaking videos I have ever watched, is inspired by the death of Aylan Kurdi in the Syrian refugee crisis. Amanda has said: "Whilst the media can't help but train its lens on Trump and Weinstein, looming large and villainous in the foreground while we all try to find the sanity and equality in this massively complicated political landscape, the constant shadow of the refugee crisis and climate change are threatening to devour the entire goddamn picture." You can read more about Amanda's entire story, and the song's lyrics here 4:16+ (although I recommend you listen to the entire song)

Mavis Staples - "I Give You Power"This song was released a day before Donald Trump's inauguration, and talks about how you shouldn't let power get to your head because it isn't everything and will eventually corrupt you. It also stands for us, as people, being able to make a difference if we come together as one. All proceeds from this song were donated to charity by the band. 1:28+
