Ornacia's CritiquesDelilah Grace | Alper I really liked your choices Delilah! I won't be commenting on the song for Nene, but personally I liked that one. Your other two songs fit well for the challenge, your parent song was really sweet and the song itself was cute and emotional. Emotional as a description also counted for your second entry. Despite being very low-key, it sounded well and light to the ears and I also found the lyrics to be rather interesting and a good lesson for the future. Well done! Miss Piggy | Bas Oh my dear, I kinda feel like you have given up this week. First of all to your parent and future self songs: While I found both songs to be decent I kinda felt like they sounded very similar? Maybe I'm deaf but it essentially felt like you sent the same song in two different languages. Your future self song might've been a bit more upbeat but I stand by my point. Both songs were okay and fit to the challenge but just like last week neither were anything to gag over. I was emotionally touched by the lyrics of your first song because it's a topic I also found scary in some way, but the song itself just lacked a bit. Now to the pandering song: Obviously Wolf is a great song. However, to send one of my past contest entries feels like a rather lazy decision. To me it looks like you had no clue what to send and chose to go with the easiest option. At this point in the competition I expected a bit more from you, I have to say. Junglepu$$y | Eke Oh well where do I begin. Let's begin with something positive: your songs did stand out amongst all of the ballads this week. And I have to say I find both songs to be decent songs. Now, the negative. Your first song is the better one in my opinion, I enjoy Mozart's composition and it's vocal talent. However, since I've seen the song in Season 2 already, I wasn't necessarily amazed by this decision, even if you may have not remembered. And I understand why you chose the song but yeah, to me it is a rather odd choice. Not a bad choice but just didn't quite hit the mark (no pun intended). As for your second song, it fits and I personally can relate to the lyrics so good job on that. But I also have to admit that I don't like the song itself too much. It's okay but I'm not a fan of the singer's voice and, well, the overall song. You did a decent job in this ball but certainly had better weeks before. I did like your pandering song the most out of your three songs but wasn't allowed to rate it so yeah. Frieda Livêrie | Callum Your parents song, or rather the meaning of it, is really sweet and I enjoyed it as a choice. Like I said to Junglepu$$y before, the song itself wasn't necessarily my cup of tea though. Sweet choice but you could've went a bit further in my view. Your future self song, however, is a great choice. The lyrics are beautiful and it's rare a song with so few lyrics can say so much but your song managed that. Additionally, it sounds dreamy and mysterious and just had a great vibe around it. I'd also like to say that your pandering song was one of the best songs this week, you did a good job on that, even if I couldn't personally reward you for it. Azealia Bongos | Aless Personally I actually enjoyed your choices a lot! Your parent song is sad and beautiful at the same time. Sure, it's "just" a normal ballad and technically nothing outstanding but I liked it and felt the emotion of the lyrics. Your second song isn't necessarily something I'd listen to in my free time but again it's a lovely song and has probably my favorite lyrics of the week. Overall it might be a simple choice but to me there's something positive and joyous about it that pleased me. Your pandering song was a mess but gladly I didn't have to include that one in my rating.

🔥 Fire's critiques 🔥
So excited to be back! I have to say I was impressed by all five of you, great job!
Azealia Bongos
SONG FOR YOUR PARENTS This is definitely my favourite song sent for this category. I don't have much to say other than that it's an amazing song both music-wise and content-wise and I love that you sent a song that represents yourself this much. SONG FOR YOUR FUTURE SELF Another beautiful and calming song and I really love that you actually sent a song filled with optimism and excitement for what comes next! PANDERING TO ME While it is a hot bop indeed, I really don't feel this is the best choice you could make for this category, as even I have forgot about it to be honest. Just a look at my last.fm account could give you many ideas that would have ultimately been better choices. Not a bad choice still, but nowhere as good as your other two choices. Great job overall!
Delilah Grace
SONG FOR YOUR PARENTS What a magnificent song! I loved every second of it and your relation to this song makes it shine even more! SONG FOR YOUR FUTURE SELF A really beautiful song and being in Japanese added to its authenticity and the fact that you managed to find a Japanese song you can relate to is really impressive.
I also have to add that the song you chose to pander to NeNe is probably my overall favourite of the week and I'm so sad that I'm not able to rank it. Great job Delilah!
Frieda Livêrie
SONG FOR YOUR PARENTS While it wasn't my favourite song of the evening, it was still a great choice and I think the admiration you have for your parents was greatly shown through it. SONG FOR YOUR FUTURE SELF My favourite choice for this category. A truly fantastic song and I it's really beautiful how much you can relate to this song even if it just has six lines. Great job Frieda! Junglepu$$y
SONG FOR YOUR PARENTS I think all of us can agree that it's an iconic piece and while I liked that you took a different approach than the others, that ended up being your downside as the others took an emotional and personal approach that I really appreciated. I'm not saying that you should have sent a sad song or something but I'd prefer to see something that reflects your relationship with your parents. Still a good choice though! SONG FOR YOUR FUTURE SELF I really liked this choice, I feel like it's something we can all relate to and once again I really appreciated that you took a different approach and in this category it actually paid off as it stood out among the ballads. Great job!
Miss Piggy
SONG FOR YOUR PARENTS I have to disagree with Ornacia here. I really, really loved this song, really soothing! The message behind it is beautiful and I feel like it's something we can all relate to whether it's our parents or our loved ones in general. SONG FOR YOUR FUTURE SELF Others might find this boring, and I can see why but I actually really like this! I love the message and I think we should all stand by it as there will always be obstacles in our lives but one day, hopefully, we will overcome them. Great job!

Malala's Critiques This ball gave me life! I'm satisfied by most of your choices this week ladies, great job. But as we're coming closer to the end, every little detail counts. Azealia Bongos I'm generally satisfied with what you brought this week. The highlight for me was the song for you parents (or your mother, in your case). It was absolutely beautiful, and the message you wanted to give was also very moving. And it's also a plus that you sticked to who you are and gave us a song in such a beautiful language. As for the song for your future self, it's not really an extraordinary song, but it was nice. But generally, it was a good effort Miss Bongos, well done!
As for your pandering song, it was an odd choice and kind of a mess but I lowkey enjoyed it. But anyway, I didn't really have to rank it. | Delilah Grace Miss Grace. You keep impressing me, really. I loved both of your songs, especially the song for your parents. It was perfect, and I loved every bit of it; especially your interpretation and the connection to your own personal story. I also have to admire you for going risky and sending a song in Japanese for your future self. And I love that your approach on this topic was to have your future self talk to your younger self and give him advice, that was so sweet. I'm really proud of you Miss Grace, you've come so far.
Even if I didn't rank your pandering song, I have to say it was a great choice and I think that Miss Leakes really appreciated your choice as well! | Frieda Livêrie What can I say about you Miss Livêrie. You served great songs this week, once again. Starting with your songs for your parents, which was a nice song. It might not be a major favorite for me, but I love the connection you managed to find with your story. As for the song for your future self, I don't have much to say besides that it was perfect and your message was really touching. Seeing you this vulnerable on the stage really moved me, and I applaud you for doing this and managing to go this deep.
Finally, for your pandering to me, I just have this to say: PERFECT. Kimbra is probably my favorite pop artist of the year and Primal Heart is my favorite album of 2018. Great job, you definitely hit the mark! (poor Junglepu$$y) |
Junglepu$$y You definitely stood out this week, solely for the fact that you didn't send ballads like most did. But other than that, I have to say I felt a little bit let down by your performance this week. While I like both of your songs, and especially your song for your parents which is a great piece, I feel like that song wasn't the best choice for that specific topic. I can see why you went with this choice, but I expected a deeper connection than that. On the other hand, your song for your future self was definitely good, its content is definitely something we can all somehow relate to. Overall, you did a solid effort but it was still somehow lackluster.
Lastly, your pandering song was probably your best song out of the three, but unfortunately I couldn't rate it myself. | Miss Piggy Miss Piggy. I can't describe how disappointed I am right now. Your songs were somehow nice but that's just it, there's nothing more than that. Not counting your pandering song, your song for your parents was probably the best but I still think that both were not really something that amazed me. You still managed to fit each topic, I can't really argue about that. Also, I can see that you tried to find songs that mean a lot to you, and I respect that. But at this point in the competition, you have to bring. it. And I'm afraid you didn't manage to match the level of the other contestants.
To conclude, your pandering song is definitely a great song, but I feel like it was a safe and lazy choice for our fellow judge Miss Ornacia. |

Nene's critiques
Ladies, what an amazing ball this time. I can't believe we've made it this far! However, here's my critiques for the week.
Azealia Bongos | Aless
Well done Miss Bongos! I thought your song to your parents was absolutely beautiful. I felt a strong connection between your description and also the lyrics, and the fact that it's in Portuguese also helped too. As for your future self song, it was really good too - I think you have so much potential and I hope the future brings very good things to you. I won't comment much on your pandering song since I can't rate it, but it isn't a bad choice overall. Overall, a solid performance from you this week Miss Bongos.
Miss Piggy | Bas
Hi Hunni! I think you could go very far after DSR, but unfortunately this week I didn't love your song choices, and in comparison to your fellow queens, it just doesn't stand out my dear. Personally, your song to your parents wasn't bad at all, I thought it was actually sweet in fact, but I wasn't a huge fan. I can't say I'm a huge fan of your song to your future self; while I do see what you were trying to do, it didn't work well for me, but I won't criticize you for putting it in your own way. I won't say much about your pandering song since Ornacia already mentioned it. Not a bad week, but definitely not as well as your other weeks.
Junglepu$$y | Eke
Interesting choices for this week! Your song to your parents was actually good - although I'm not the biggest fan of opera. I felt that you chose something that you personally saw heartwarming and relatable, so I will give you that. As for your second song, it wasn't bad, but not amazing either. I felt that the song just didn't live up to what I was hoping for. However dear, you're an aspiring queen and I do hope that you continue doing what you do best.
Frieda Livêrie | Callum
An amazing week from you too Frieda, and I didn't expect anything else. I felt that the song you dedicated to your parents was very touching and heartwarming, I really felt that the song fit perfectly the relationship that they had and still have today. Your second choice was just as good, and I didn't expect much else from you considering how risky and edgy you are, but I love the choice that you made. Well done hunny!
Delilah Grace | Alper
And finally, Ms Grace. It was a pleasure to be paired with you this week. Of course, you know that I love the Irish language so much and that it is very special to me, and I love the musical genre you chose, and it definitely fit what I was looking for. As for your other songs, they were very inspirational, especially the song to your parents. I felt very moved by it and by your story in general, and I felt that it represented you as a person and I'm very glad you are who you are today, and the same goes for your future self song. I'm very hopeful for you my dear and you have a special place in my boobs. Congratulations.
