Kim Woodburn's Critiques Another decent week, but you're still a chicken livered bunch, as always. Amnesia Scanner Alex BG
Oh, this was lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of your entry this week, so much so I completely forgot last week even happened for you. You've turned this around, I can only hope you continue on the same course from here on out. Magnificent work, dear. | Cœur de Meme Dennis
It's been another delightful entry from you, dear. There really isn't anything negative to be said about this song, it's all quite wonderful, really. However, the atmosphere was quite competitive this week and your song did get a little lost in it all, for me. | Evelyna Světlá Toby
Oh, luvvie, here we are again. I think you missed the target a little this week, actually. This song is really more orchestral than anything else, and I would also dare to say that I'd like to see a bit more research from you in the future. Your entries so far have not been up to the standards, really. | Mariah de la Storm Lefteris
Listen, dear. Something went a tad wrong here, didn't it. I can hear the violin, but to me the song is more dominated by the guitar than anything else, which is not what I wished to hear. But I will have to applaud you for the originality of your entry, good job on that, luvvie. | Reth Sander
I am extremely disappointed in you this week, luvvie. Just like Evelyna, you completely missed the target. There is some violin, of course, but absolutely not enough of it. Your entry last week was amongst my favourites, and I do think this song itself is a lovely one, but it just isn't what we wanted from you. I'm sorry, dear. | Stan Kan McCann William
Listen here, you little bugger. I don't know why you're even here. Your song was quite good and definitely better than a lot of the other songs, but it just doesn't quite connect with me that well. I reckon you need to be a bit more dynamic and diverse with your entries in the future, but you get a pass for now. | Yasmin Renshaw Jens
Oh luvvie, this is fantastic entry and an absolute jam. It checks nearly all of the boxes for what I hoped to see this week. I am quite proud of you for this, I have to say. I truly hope you keep this up, well done! | |

Nene's critiques
Ooh yas hunni! Some of y'all pulled my strings, while some of you should go back to listening to music instead.
Amnesia Scanner (alex(a)bg )
This was an absolutely stunning submission and fits perfectly for this challenge. Last week, your main flaw was the fact you didn't stick to the challenge as much, while this week you came back and you snatched. I don't need to say how much of an icon Björk is, her music speaks for itself, and I absolutely love it, especially this song. Although we're only in week 2, keep it up and I'm sure you'll go very far hunti.
Cœur de Meme (@garameaning )
Another amazing week from you my dear! I have to admit that I was never really a Soap&Skin stan to begin with, however I felt that this song was absolutely beautiful. The violin just adds to the beauty of it, and I will admit that there has been times where it was quite emotional. In a way, I was expecting you to use this artist, but I have no complaints - this week it really worked. Well done!
Evelyna Světlá (Aglan )
Hi hunni! I was really hoping for a good comeback from you this week, but unfortunately that fell quite short and I'm not impressed. Like Kim, I was disappointed that you didn't focus on the violin as the main instrument, instead it was more orchestral, and while that isn't the worst genre it doesn't fit in here, my love. I wanted you to dig deeper like I said last time, but unfortunately it seems that you didn't.
Mariah de la Storm (Lᴇꜰ )
Oh sweetie. Unfortunately, your song was rather fit for a guitar challenge than a violin, and that's an absolute shame because the song is more than decent. However, like that little bugger said I'm more than happy with you digging deep and finding something like this, and I feel that you could go very far with researching alone. That being said, I'm not very disappointed in you, it's just that one instrument cancelled the other one out, and unfortunately it had to be the one that we were looking for!
Reth (~Rethnas~ )
Well sweetheart, last week you had a beautiful song and this week you went downhill. While I can't deny this is a beautiful song, where is the correlation? I mean yes we get some violin but that doesn't cut it for me hunni. I get where you were coming from, but unfortunately for you it didn't work out in your favour, and it's just not it.
Stan Kan McCann (ClassifiedCat )
A very nice submission from you this week love! I've nothing too negative to say about it. Although I don't love the song as much as I would want to, it fits perfectly into this challenge and I can see what you did there with this song. Keep up the good work dear!
Yasmin Renshaw (Jens )
Yas hunni werq! Like with Soap&Skin, I'm not a huge fan of Sevdaliza. However for this challenge, I actually really adored this song! It's an absolute bop and perfect for this challenge. Wow, Sevdaliza and Björk in the one week? I have to say I wasn't expecting this from you, but I'm proud of you this week sweetheart, you really did an amazing job. Nothing more to say here, keep it up!

Callum's Critiques
You didn't get rid of me just yet hunties! Sorry for being so late, I've just been working on my feature for Agnes Obel's next single "Release Me," it'll be out soon! Now let's see whose cadenza was that of a violin virtuoso, and that of a load of pissicato.

Rebecca's Critiques Hi guys, mmm, let's get this roast a cookin'! Amnesia Scanner Alex Bg Yes Amnesia, YES! I'm so happy that you've sent this song after last week's tragedy. Björk is the icon herself, I love her! And this song showcases an amazing violin rhythm, I can't stop listening to it! I love me some strings, and you definitely gave me one. Good job, keep up the work! | Coeur De Meme Dennis You keep slaying and slaying! I adore Anja Plaschg personally, and you served us a song that sounds perfect! It snatched my wig hard, and I am not shocked, especially seeing it coming from you. The violin gives a really interesting vibe to the song, and I'm so into it! I loved you last week, I do now too. Continue slaying! | Evelyna Svetlá Toby Ugh. I should remind you that this is a violin themed week, and you missed the point. I see more of an orchestra in this song than violin. Also another remark, I don't really think you researched a lot for this song, as it's a soundtrack, so yeah. I hoped you'd improve after last week, but you unfortunately failed once again. | Mariah de la Storm Lef Finally I got the chance to critique you! Unfortunately, I have some bad news. Your submission failed to impress me. The same problem as Evelyna, this doesnt feel like a song accompanied by a violin AT ALL. That's heartbreaking, as the song itself sounds pretty good to be honest. I hope you won't let me down anytime soon again, as I think that you have what it takes to succeed in this competition. | Reth Rethnas Girl, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU? You SERVED last week but this time you may be in danger sweetheart. Yes, there are violins in the song, but it's rather like an accessory. I don't have much else to say, rather than the fact that you disappointed me. A lot. | Stan McCann William Hun, I think I'm bald! You S N A T C H E D my left tit this week. I fell in love with your song, and to be honest, it fits to the theme perfectly in my opinion! I feel like you could continue doing amazing in this season, I see that in you! |
| Yasmin Renshaw Jens BITCH! You destroyed the week. I am a huge fan of Sevdaliza myself, and I absolutely adore Shahmaran just like her other masterpieces. The violins in the end blessed my ears, and they fit so well to the song! What I love about her songs is that they all have their uniqueness to them, and this is no exception! I was disappointed last week, but you've definitely proved that you have what it takes to stay in this competition! Keep it up honey! |
