Ireland will participate

After a 14th place in the 70th edition, of course Ireland is going nowhere - we've competed every edition since the 16th edition and that's not going to stop

We will also be sending returning artists. Damien Rice competed back in the 26th edition, while Lára Rúnarsdóttir competed in the 27th and they will represent Ireland this edition!

The song is about the negative voices in your head.
She tries to battle them, but it doesn't work. She tries to run away, but it's not possible. If she does something to it, she'll also lose a part of her.
It's not her fault for these thoughts, but she feels guilty about them.
