[French Polynesia] (Polynésie française / Pōrīnetia Farāni) is an overseas collectivity of the French Republic and the only overseas country of France. It is composed of 118 geographically dispersed islands and atolls stretching over an expanse of more than 2,000 kilometres (1,200 mi) in the South Pacific Ocean.
Despite of the existed available venue, SVBU decided to host the contest outdoor for the first time, in a beautiful beach of this territory.
For this edition the contest will be held in the breathtaking paradise called [Bora Bora]. Bora Bora an island group in the Leeward group in the western part of the Society Islands of French Polynesia, an overseas collectivity of France in the Pacific Ocean. The main island, located about 230 kilometres northwest of Papeete, is surrounded by a lagoon and a barrier reef.
Bora Bora is a major international tourist destination, famous for its aqua-centric luxury resorts. The major settlement, Vaitape, is on the western side of the main island, opposite the main channel into the lagoon.
"No Pain, No Gain" / "Where there's a will, there's a way"
[FOREVER ASPIRATION] gives us an idea about the most desired achievement in life, forever. But as we all know, nothing is impossible. The great example is when French Polynesia won the contest last edition in Bilbao without borrowing.
The spinning [Squares] symbolize the cliche life cycle of human. 24 hours are given to everyone but harder you try to change your life, less distance between you and your own aspiration. Furthermore, the [Colorful colors] represent freedom and diversity of lives and the [Sea] is a symbol of the infinity and of course, the host Tahiti.
[Ella Koon] is a Hong Kong Cantopop singer and writer. She was born in the French Polynesian island of Tahiti, of Hakka descent. She was raised in Hong Kong and attended high school in Birmingham, England. Koon is multi-lingual and speaks Hakka, Cantonese, English, Mandarin, and some French.
