This sounds really tough actually. I have an idea on what (or who) I may submit.
However I may also withdraw depending on my mood in the upcoming days. Can I ask for a reminder please?

France confirms Just mentioning, as stated in the first post of the thread, just confirming is not enough - your spot is only secured once an entry has been submitted.

Just discovered that the artist I originally wanted to send actually released the song TWO DAYS BEFORE HER 50TH BIRTHDAY. Like WTF?!? A Filipino debut is currently in doubt at the moment. We'll see what happens.

Rasim Müzəffərli - Batmış gəminin mahnısı Timeslot: 1:04+ The current Azerbaijani entry retells the story of a man who has suffered for a lifetime and being referred to as "a sinking ship" in the lyrics. The song, whose title can be translated as "A song for a sinking ship" was released in 2017, while the representative, who should be familiar to you from the 4th edition of the Retro WWWSC was born in 1958.

The entry is surely accepted but despite the fact the video seems to be from 2017, there are other YouTube videos with the song uploaded back in 2016, the earliest one having been uploaded the 28th of September 2016. As I don't really seem to be able to find the official release date anywhere, the date I just mentioned will be taken as the date of release; unless you can find the actual release date.

Thanks for the notification. I remember this song being released maximum 2-3 years ago and perhaps was one of the first listeners, since I subscribed to the singer's YouTube channel back then. Apparently, his channel is no longer present in YouTube, but the video you found dating back to 26/09/2016 is indeed the oldest one being uploaded (I have done a bit research after your reply). In case this date can be taken as the date of release, I would like to kindly ask to accept my entry. Otherwise, please let me know so I can start looking for another entry. Thanks

Thanks It's certainly fine as with this release date I mentioned, it's still eligible to take part.
