Ok, so this was rather challenging.  I'm happy that the seniors get a chance, but not many of them are still releasing new songs, or if so, they sound rather retro... Anyway, I found a song that the world needs to hear lol. So here comes the  Hungarian senior super group: Artists: - Erika Zoltán (born 15th Feb 1962) - Robby D. (born 11th May 1968) - Éva Csepregi (born 22nd Oct 1953) - DJ Dominique (born 22nd Jun 1964) Song: Szívünkből szólt (released: 6th Feb 2015) Average age at the time of release: 52,25 Picture 1 (Erika & Robby D.) The earliest reference I can find is on deezer, on 1st October 2014, but it doesn't change much indeed, luckily I have good old Éva in there to raise the average.  I sent her to the retro contest btw on a rare occasion when I took part, as part of Neoton Familia. As I see, she returned more times there, and also Erika took part, they are both becoming WWWSC legends. |

This theme made me dig very deep into latvian music, but I actually managed to find 3 artists, that have released songs after the age of 50 (I actually know 1 band as well, but since I can't provide all their member ages, that band wasn't considered). Out of the 3 artists, I've decided to go for the one, that I've never used and that is something very different of what I usually send. I don't know, if you've heard of this music genre, but now you have a chance to get to know something about it, although you probably know rockabilly classics like this and this. Rockabilly (one of the earliest styles of rock and roll music) was a very popular music genre in 1950's (especially in USA), and this is the genre Pits Andersons (AKA Pete Anderson) decided to make his musical career of. He mostly has recorded covers of rockabilly classics, but in 21st century he also started to make original songs. And one of those original songs will be used here. BUT!!! This song is not a classic rockabilly genre. It's a version of rockabilly - where brass instruments play the main role - called brassabilly. That's also the title of his album - "Brass-A-Billy". Published in 2008. Sadly, he passed away at the age of 70 in early 2016, so the place of "Rockabilly/Rock'n'Roll king" in Latvia is free to take. I hope you'll enjoy it! Info:
