BASKETBALL WORLD CUP 2020

Seeburg - Today the Basketball Federation of Fantasia (BFF) has officially opened the bidding phase for the 2020 Basketball World Cup and its Qualification Tournaments. After a successful tournament this year in Moly-Boronia, the BFF hopes that next years tournament will be as succesful.

Countries interested in bidding for an event can bid for up to three events from this list:

2020:
2020 Basketball World Cup (4-6 venues)
TriLak Qualification Tournament (2 venues) - only countries from Tritonia or Lakadasia
Sakodan Qualification Tournament (5 or 6 venues) - only Sakodan countries
Wulforian Qualification Tournament (5 or 6 venues) - only countries from Wulfor
Serican Qualification Tournament (3 or 4 venues) - only Serican countries
Latinican Qualification Tournament (3 venues) - only Latinican countries

2021:
2021 Basketball World Cup (4-6 venues)
Sakodan Qualification Tournament (5 or 6 venues) - only Sakodan countries
Wulforian Qualification Tournament (5 or 6 venue) - only countries from Wulfor

2022:
2022 Basketball World Cup (4-6 venues)

Applicants for a World Cup are encouraged to also send a design and slogan with their application. 
Applications are open until the 15th of October.

Dýria is currently exploring the idea of sending a bid to host both Wulforian Qualification Tournaments in 2020/2021. The BFD (Basketball Federation of Dýria) is currently awaiting governmental support for the bids to go ahead, and the decision is expected to be made during the week.
