I guess it took me quite long to get that 2nd victory but it was worth waiting! I clearly didn't think I would be able to win with this song; I thought a TOP 10 was possible but not a victory. Maybe it was because I had been keeping this song as a "back-up plan" for quite a lot of editions and it seems like the timing was just right to go for it. I am obviously really happy and grateful to everyone for the votes and the support, especially to Canada, Croatia and Montenegro for their which definitely helped. It was a very "nerve-wrecking" race towards the end but the final outcome would have anyway been decent as it was either going to be a 2nd place or a victory (and I haven't had none of those for ages ). Also thanks to people for not including me in their winner predictions as that usually works the exact opposite way for me. Although this may sound "weird", I feel much happier with this victory than with my previous one, despite the previous one being my first one in the contest. The reason is that I wanted to get a victory with a song in Greek and also because Michalis is an artist who is not really popular in online song contests (I might have got a few TOP 10 results with him before but he mainly does quite average), so this feels great. On a final note, I guess that this is a victory that makes this new decade of Retro WWWSC really special for me and it's also the last Retro winner of this decade (2010-2019) so I'm very excited to know that the first edition of 2020 will take place in Cyprus Once again, thank you very much and see you in Cyprus!

12th! That's what I expected, but not what I wanted (counts also for the fact that hardly anyone voted for me). Thanks for 64 points (was it really needed to be 1 point off...) and that's particularly Latvia and the Philippines who gave me . Ar least I think it were these 2. Scorewiz doesn't work for me that's why I don't know. France, China and weren't exactly the obvious top 3. I nonetheless like all 3 of them. Also Cyprus is a good winner imo, but I don't think it's the best song we've heard this edition. That's all from what I remember.

I hope you all had (and are having) a lovely time during the holidays May all your deepest wishes for 2020 come true I don't know how carefully you look at the table of events each edition, but I wrote that the submissions for 82nd edition open on the 5th of January and I'll stick to it
