 To forget about what is going on around us, I decided to host some events for everyone to join.
I scheduled a few events, but everything can be adapted to my capabilities and your wishes.
I will host three events per week, Movie Nights on the weekends (Friday or Saturday), and two Music Events during the week.
If you would like more shows, other themes, at different times, you can host them yourself.
If you will be hosting an event on other sites or different channels, I can add them to the calendar on Google Docs.
You can hang out in our CyTube channel when there are no events.
Feel free to suggest anything to make this work for the most people possible.
I will post all the updates regarding the events in this thread.
Please tell me if you would like me to tag you before the event. |

www.watch2gether.com/ seems like a good option. I haven't tried it, but if we believe this screenshot, then you can watch videos not only from youtube, but also some other platforms like vimeo and dailymotion. Plus there's a chat window... As for what to watch - I think it would be better to have a poll about the movies to find out, what genres people enjoy watching the most. For example, I'm a die hard comedy guy, also enjoy action or drama movies, while on the other hand I don't really enjoy animations, horror films. That's just an example. On the other hand - we don't necessarily need to watch movies - we can just watch some interesting videos on YT or other platforms. For example, this one (some of you might have seen this, but I'm using it only as an example) - www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gznfeyfhv_g or some standup comedy shows like this one - www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXscUrVELIUJust throwing some ideas...

As for the unavailability of some movies/videos - the only solution I can think of is VPN. I don't know, if it will work, but I can't think of anything else... Sometimes, when I want to watch something, that isn't available to me, I activate VPN and watch away. Most VPN's you have to pay for, but I've found 1 for free - it's called SetupVPN - if you use Google Chrome (I do), then go to this link HERE and just add it to your browser, the same can be done for Mozilla Firefox - go HERE and add it to your browser. Opera should have a built-in VPN, so you just have to find it. And if you use other browser, that isn't one of these 3, then you might want to look for this VPN for it as well. It might work if you just download it from HERE and open it on your desktop. Once you've opened (from taskbar most likely)/added the VPN to your browser, just open it/click on it's icon (in the browser) and choose, which country you want. It might ask you to register or buy premium, but it's not necessary. Just click on "continue using for free" or something similar at the bottom with small letters, just don't click anything, that says about premium, even premium trials are not necessary... After you've done using it - just open/click the icon and click "disconnect"  I use this VPN since november and I haven't had any problem with it, when I needed to use it. I hope this can help - if not, then I don't have any other ideas how to avoid unavailability... |

Oh, and just a question about the times... when you say: "come an hour before the movie to hang out", do you mean we need to come at 20:00 CET (movies starts at 21:00 CET) or do we come at 21:00 CET (movie starts 22:00 CET)? First option would be better... I think 20:00 is a better time in general, because those of us from eastern Europe or countries even further east might struggle joining, if the event is too late in the night...
