She's Back Kinshasa, 24 October 2020 - Following back to back NQs following the hosting of the first edition of the Own Africavision Song Contest, the DR Congo has announced that they are going to dip their toes into the talent pool of artists who have already participated, and are bringing back a familar face for a second chance.
Lous and the Yakuza
Marie-Pierra Kakoma, better known as Lous and the Yakuza, is a Congolese-Belgian singer. Born in the city of Lubumbashi near the border with Zambia to a Congolese gynocologist father and a Rwandan pediatrician mother. She and her mother and siblings relocated to Belgium at the age of two, while her father came later. The family eventually moved to Rwanda for several years, leading to Marie-Pierra's return to Belgium. Her debut album Gore, featuring her previous entry "Dilemme", was released on October 16th, and one of the non-released songs on the album was chosen to represent her and the DR Congo. The song will be revealed in a few day's time.

Eritrea confirms! L'Eritrea parteciperà al concorso come sempre Keren, 24 October 2020
Shockingly keeping its qualification streak by Louam in Bissau, the Eritrean broadcaster Eritrean Television (Eri-TV) decided to stop wasting their budget on harvesting and exporting quality potatoes instead and confirm their participation instead. The head of the delegation stated that we are currently searching for potential artists to be our representative throughout the potato field. Again, if there are someone you want to see flying our flag in Mauritius, don’t hesitate to suggest them to us!
The forth Eritrean entry in the competition is expected to be released when we are able to find something good. More information will be announced later
