Gonorrhea Diarrhoea First up, Gonorrhea Diarrhoea. Let's hear what the judges have to say about your floorshow. Junglepu$$y: Before I start I would like to say that none of you completely missed the mark this week and that all songs submitted have at least elements of industrial music present. That being said, miss Gonorrhea, I have some choice words for you. This entire week in the boudoir you were going off about industrial music and what you think is and isn't industrial music, and in doing so telling others that their entries were not industrial or not industrial enough, however, you yourself have sent possibly the least industrial song of the week. This is at best a bland electropop song with some noisier electric guitars and shouty vocals thrown into the mix. Yes, that technically qualifies as elements of industrial music, but those elements also don't take away from the fact that this song is bland, basic and has not aged well since the time it was originally released. Maybe don't act all high and mighty with others when you don't really know what you're talking about in the first place and also haven't sent a strong entry yourself. Claudia: Mama what is this? I guess there are some elements of industrial to it but... girl. This song just feels like a dated pop song that Lady Gaga would've rejected in 2010 with a few elements that exist in industrial music. None of these industrial elements are really prominent in the chorus, which wouldn't be that important if they were really prominent outside of the chorus, but as a whole it just missed the mark as an industrial song. This really wasn't it mama. Krampu$$y: I'm certainly not an expert on industrial music but even I find this to be a rather thin execution of the genre. It really just sounds like a generic electropop song from 2011. Not terrible sonically but overall just not what I wanted to hear. Angelyne: I… hmm. ok. so like, yeah. i guess this industrial….. but it felt very industrial lite. i was expecting more from you this week but this very much just fell flat for me. like, it’s a good song, but i just got more pop than industrial from this song. it’s very upsettin.

Sis Anne Desit Next up, Sis Anne Desit. Let's hear what the judges have to say about your floorshow. Claudia: I'd say this song kinda fits the idea of industrial, there is a fusion of rock and electronic and it certainly is abrasive and aggressive, I will give it that much. There was also the touch of dealing with controversial topics which I appreciated, once again showing that you've put thought into your entry beyond "find the first industrial tagged song on rateyourmusic.com". The song itself I didn't really enjoy that much, it was alright but I wasn't really as drawn to it as I thought I would be. Decent, but at this point of the competition we're looking for more than decent. Junglepu$$y: While elements of industrial music are present here, I don't think your entry qualifies as a necessarily industrial song. This is primarily an electronic hardcore track, with experimental and noisy qualities, which is what give it enough of an industrial sound to qualify as fitting for this week, but I also don't believe this is entirely what we're looking for either. Aside from that I personally did not enjoy this song too much, it's not terrible, but as far as experimental hip hop stuff goes it's pretty middling, and despite this not affecting my score, the artist's connections to extremely problematic racist and transphobic rapper Lil Darkie don't really do this many favours in my eyes. Krampu$$y: Baby, what has been going on? A few weeks ago I thought you were coming for a landslide victory this season but this is the third week in a row that you haven't delivered the type of snappery that I know you can deliver. Genre-wise it's relatively close to what I thought I was going to hear this week but that doesn't save the song. At least in the previous two weeks, you gave us amazing songs, even if they weren't the best fit for the challenges. This song is just not good. You really need to get it together NOW because the crown is slipping out of your reach. Angelyne: so i am aware, that throughout this competition i have been very rough on you. but do you know what? i thought this was lit. it may not be that conventional, cookie-cutter version of industrial, but i felt this was the most embodying example of industrial. like, in my opinion, industrial has those harsh and abrasive sounds, and while everyone delivered on that, i thought you had an edge over the other queens because the lyrics were the most on point for industrial. very gruesome and disgusting, directly anti-establishment, very controversial and shocking. i thought you did really good here miss desist.

Ordgie Next up, Ordgie. Let's hear what the judges have to say about your floorshow. Angelyne: this was a solid entry from you miss girl, you did the assignment correctly. but unfortunately, it did not have as much of an impact on me as some of the other girls, i just needed a little more oomph, a little more ahh, and this wouldve been perfect. Claudia: This is a bit of a different take on industrial but I think it still works. However, the song took a long time to really get going, and even when it started going off I was left underwhelmed. While this does qualify as industrial music for sure, it felt lacking in power and I just didn't care for it as a song. Not bad, but I was just looking for more.. Junglepu$$y: This song is definitely industrial and is also pretty good. Overall I personally did not overly enjoy this song as it fell slightly flat for me, since despite the powerful vocals and instrumental changes it still managed to feel a bit samey the entire way through, but I also cannot say you've done a bad job here. Krampu$$y: A bop I think. It's not what I personally would classify as "industrial" but as I said, I'm not the best person to judge how industrial a song actually is, so I'm going to trust my co-judges, who tell me that the song fits. And I think it's quite a good song!

Shiva Kindett Next up, Shiva Kindett. Let's hear what the judges have to say about your floorshow. Krampu$$y: Prior to this challenge, I expected you to have a hard time with it, as this just didn't seem like something that was up your alley. However, you definitely proved me wrong because your entry is exactly what I wanted to hear, this is what I consider to be industrial. Not something I would listen to in my free time but regarding the challenge execution, I think you had the best one this week. I'm glad that you did not continue the rollercoaster ride and stayed on top instead of falling again! Junglepu$$y: Ignore what miss Gonorrhea told you in the boudoir, this is 100% an industrial song. And it's also just a very good song in general. Yeah, this era of Crystal Castles was ... problematic to say the least, but I also can't deny that some really good music came out of it and "Fleece" has always been one of my favourites on that project. Very well done! Angelyne: this is very berghain girl, i love it. i just felt like doing a bunch of * * * * * and break windows or something. it was short and to the point from beginning to end. this was very much industrial and this was very much it. great job this week. Claudia: This was a really strong entry, potentially your strongest to date, but at the very least a return to form after a couple of more questionable weeks. I wasn't completely in love with the song, but it slapped hard in places and gave me everything I was looking for in terms of an industrial entry. Good job overall doll, you've chosen a good time to snap.

Fuhlei Sheeo And finally, Fuhlei Sheeo. Let's hear what the judges have to say about your floorshow. Angelyne: i am in an abandoned cement factory in a former soviet country, i am absolutely mortal, this song comes on, and i just lose it. this is so quintessential, and this made several points. i just wish it was longer, but nonetheless, this was grape. Junglepu$$y: This is fantastic. Sassy 009 is a great artist with a very good ear for sound design and this song is a perfect example of that. Despite being in mostly the same genres as miss Ordgie's song, no offense, your entry manages to represent those genres so much better, in my opinion, while also keeping me hooked on it the entire way through. Great job! Krampu$$y: Great entry, it fits and is quite good. Again, industrial is not my cup of tea so I'm not going to pretend that I loved it but I'm not going to drag you just because the entire week isn't my taste. You did a good job overall and I think you have really redeemed yourself in the last few weeks. Claudia: Girl I was not expecting this to go off as much as it did. You have done it again queen, constantly raising the bar for us all. This was really interesting, a creative pick, while still fitting brilliantly with the theme at hand. I just loved this the whole way through, it kept my attention from start to finish. Excellent work doll.
