FORMAT
Three from each semi-final will qualify to the final.
A wild card selected by YLE will qualify to the final directly without having to participate in the semifinals (you can read more in the spoiler below).
The winner is selected in the Grand Final by the jury and public (50/50).
You can apply for a jury spot later in the voting form during the semi-finals (only (co-)HoD's are allowed to apply).
WILD CARD:
YLE has chosen out of 19 competing songs a wild card that will qualify directly to the final.
The criteria YLE had while selecting the wild card were either by the artist's recognition in the Finnish music scene or by their previous results in Pohjoisviisut, NVSC, NMGP, or any other contest related to NVSC.
The wild card will not get any other benefit comparing to other contestants than the automatic place in the final. The artist and the song will be revealed during the recap of Semi-final 3.
