The voting of the 21st edition of "Pivnichbachennya Vidbir Natsionalnii" has closed only a few minutes ago, the winner has been decided (though with a rather disappoining amount of 22 voters, compared to past PNV editions) and is now ready to be revealed to the European public and even beyond! Who will try and get the trophy for Ukraine in Sweden? Proudly present, the winner of PNV #21 and the Ukrainian representative of NVSC #37... ANNA TRINCHER!
Anna Leonidovna Trincher is a 20-year-old  Ukrainian singer and actor from Kiev. She’s no stranger to musical competition. In the past, Anna has participated in a number of musical competitions and festivals, including the “Nightingale of Ukraine”, the “My Chance” online competition, the musical division of the International Turkish Olympiad, “New Wave” 2015 and the Ukrainian edition of “The Voice Kids”.
She is more commonly known as the Ukrainian representative of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Sofia, where she placed 11th with her song "Pochny z sebe". The year before, she tried to represent Ukraine too, but in the national final she placed only 13th with "Nebo znaye". But Anna got to even more popularity after participating in the Ukrainian version of "The Voice" and placing 3rd in the final. After that, she wasn't a child anymore, she has grown into a real women, a real queen.
The song Anna Trincher will perform in Sweden is her latest single called "Po gubam" ("По губам", translation "On the lips"), an electrifying and upbeat dance song with a powerhouse production and a music video full of energy and passion. Even the clip director told the media that he explicitly wanted to show Anna from another perspective: more grown-up and sexy. Many revelations are waiting for the audience, each second of the clip is full of "inner eroticism". Anna Trincher herself said the following about the music video to "Po gubam":
"Я представлена в совершенно необычном для меня собирательном образе соблазнительницы. Семь трансформаций, неожиданных, абсолютно контрастных между собой! Мы задавались вопросом, у кого было такое количество образов в клипе, и насчитали только у Бейонсе и Джей Ло! Мы готовились к клипу больше месяца, показали очень сложную игру света. Заранее готовили танцевальные номера, проводили по четыре репетиции каждый день. Считаю, что вся наша команда достигла wow-эффекта!"
(Translation: I'm presented in a for me completely unusual figure of a seductress. Seven transformations, unexpected and absolutely contrastive between one another. We questioned ourselves, who ever had that amount of different looks in one clip, and we only counted Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez! We prepared for more than a month for the shooting, we presented a very complicated light show. Before that, we practiced the choreographies, four rehearsals a day. In my opinion, our team managed to get a wow-effect!")

  NARKIS TO REPRESENT  ISRAEL!The third edition of Israelifest found its winner: Narkis will represent her home country in the Northvision Song Contest 37, which is set to take place in Sweden. She will perform the song "Holechet Itcha".
NARKIS
Narkis Reuven-Nagar was born in Ashkelon, and grew up in Netzer Hazani. In her voice and sounds she tells the story of a strong woman who stands in front of the world and dares to reveal the journey of her life through music. Narkis was 36 years old when she released her debut album in 2017, "Bo Nedaber Emet" (Let's Speak The Truth).
Narkis is no stranger to the North Vision stage as she took part in Israelifest 1 | Shir  Le'Rusia and finished 2nd, only 6 points behind the winner May Sfadia. She also participated in the  OGAN Second Chance Contest 35 where she performed the song "Avi Lo" and placed 9th.
Since then, in 2021, Narkis performed in "Torch-lighting Ceremony" at the Israeli 73rd Independence day. Later that year she released her single "Holechet Itcha" which is the first single out of her 3rd album "Olam Hadash" (New World).

BELGIAN UTOPIA!
After scrapping Belfestival, Belgium has finally made the long-awaited announcement. The broadcaster took the resources that would have otherwise gone towards the national final and instead put them towards the North Vision act. RTBF received an avalanche of last-minute submissions by the time the process closed. This edition, we wanted to change a couple of things in order to get Belgium back on the right track. After a tense few days of speculation, the Walloon broadcaster has revealed who will wave the country's flag in Sweden. SHE is inherently different from the other artists of generation. SHE has pushed against the tired trends of contemporary pop music to carve out her own sound and style. SHE is a free spirit within the French-speaking scene.

MATHILDE FERNANDEZ comes from a milieu of both the visual and performing arts. Her musical project began while exploring the various textures of her voice. Mathilde continually enriches her baroque universe by breaking the barrier between disciplines. Her exquisite performances, lyrical talents and stage presence make each of her appearances sublime. Fernandez lives and works between Brussels and Paris. Now, she will represent Belgium at the 37th North Vision Song Contest set to be held in Sweden.
Temple sourire - the Belgian entry for the contest taken from her third EP - Sensible - is an ode to inner positivity. Its uniqueness is guaranteed by the theatricality that emanates from the French lyrics. The song is one of those hybrids allowing a talented singer to juggle between her deepest and guttural voice on the verses, and her clearer and higher at the time of the refrains. Mathilde creates her own definition of pop, transforms it into a magnificent electronic landscape and makes it both captivating and touching.
The music video, directed by Robin Knudsen, is very grand, filled with goth-pop aesthetic. Fernandez resides in a miniaturized empire that rises beyond the sky. Both a pictorial experience and a psychedelic journey, the kingdom of Mathilde Fernandez is filled with emotions.

Robin Packalen to wave the  Finnish flag!
Robin Packalen has won Pohjoisviisut 37 after getting 98 points from both the jury and the public and winning the tiebreak rule. Jesse Markin feat. Terrell Hines placed second with 98 points as well and Malka placed third with 96 points. Robin Packalen won the jury voting whilst Jesse Markin feat. Terrell Hines won the televoting.
Robin Packalen is one of the biggest artists in Finland with multiple awards and nominations and has millions of streams on Spotify and Youtube. Robin is very likely a familiar face to Northvision fans as he’s been participating in Pohjoisviisut 36 together with Alex Mattson and in the Swedish national selection Fantasifestivalen 35, placing third and sixth respectively. Robin Packalen will represent Finland with “Built To Fall Apart” in Stockholm.
