Tunisia reveals their entry!
After a long internal search, the Tunisian broadcaster has just announced their entry and artist

Prior to confirming their participation, the Tunisian broadcaster worked vigorously to find a suitable entry best fit to represent the country. And now without further ado, the broadcaster is now ready to reveal who has been selected to represent Tunisia in the 37th North Vision Song Contest.

Meet the artists who will
represent Tunisia below!

They are Underher & Zanjma.
The official representatives of Tunisia in the 37th edition of the North Vision Song Contest

UNDERHER is an electronica/melancholic act created by Kalden Bess , already in the techno circuit since 2009 as ‘Kalden Bess’. Now among the most successful Tunisian and Canadian electronic acts over the the last couple of years. Having Released with artist such as Moby, Books Shade, U2, Maya Jane Coles and many others. The sound that defines UNDERHER, a mixture of sensuality, melancholia and sorrow has easily reached and touched many types of public. Supporting live bands such as has SOHN, HVOB, Haelos.

This passion of making music not only made for the dance floor saw fruits when Netflix starting to pick up the music. Now with over 7 tracks on 6 differents TV Shows. Khaled Bess is creating a new path for himself in the Hollywood world. 2020 is looking beautiful and full of surprise for Khaled Bess (aka UNDERHER) with his first release of the year on Solomun label ‘2DIY4’, the release of his first official LP with massive remixes, and tons of singles, eps on amazing labels and upcoming tour.

He will be accompanied by Zanjma who provides the ethereal vocals for the track. Emna Jaziri otherwise known as Zanjma, is a Tunisian singer and actress who discovered her passion very young and then pursued art training to integrate into the ISM of Tunis where she had an academic training in musicology and pushed her vocal technique. Emna uses her voice in different timbres and styles and genres of music, jazz, opera, soul and has also collaborated with DJS as a vocalist and songwriter.

italy has decided to take the decision to TEMPORARILY withdraw from the contest this edition. my apologies have already been extended to the council and i also extend to the participants of the contest as well. i do not take this decision lightly, i have contemplated this and thought it through thoroughly. for me, and i would hope for anyone else, my mental stability and health must be my priority. on a personal level, this edition was actually rather stressful for me, with both real life circumstances alongside the responsibility of my participation in this contest weighing me down, especially tonight. it is time for me to take a step back. we thoroughly hope to return in the 38th edition with a refreshed mindset. i do still hope to vote in this edition.

i hope that you understand.

RTL opts for worldwide talent Tali Golergant!

Last edition, Luxembourg narrowly stayed out the semi-finals with the talent Kid Bloom. That did not stop RTL from conducting a thorough search across the nation. This resulted in

Tali Golergant being chosen to represent her country in Stockholm. She will sing her song indie pop song Deep Blue.

49 ENTRIES READY FOR STOCKHOLM!

After the previous announcement of 50 competing countries, we can now announce, that 49 entries have been found to compete in the thirty-seventh edition of the North Vision Song Contest.

While a few countries unfortunately already failed to qualify from the Pre-Qualification Round, it is with deep regret to announce the temporary belated withdrawal of

Italy. Despite the fact that this means, that ClassifiedCat will receive another warning percentage of 25%, we sincerely hope for the delegation to return as soon as possible after their well-deserved break. For the contest it means that one semi-final will be reduced to 19 participants. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and wish all participants the best of luck!

Cinta Laura Kiehl is an

Indonesian-German singer, actress and model. She was born in

Quakenbrück, Germany, to a

German father and an

Indonesian mother. So far, she has lead a very successful life: as a teenager, she become a national swimmer and collected 10 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 7 bronze medals from various swimming competitions. Afterwards, she completed a degree in Psychology at the Columbia University in

New York City. Since then, she has become a popular actress and singer in

Indonesia and was appointed to be an ambassador of anti-violence against women and children by the

Indonesian Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection in 2019.

On top of all of her amazing accomplishments, she's not a completely new face to North Vision. She previously tried to represent

Germany in NVSC #32 with her song "Vida", but finished as a runner-up to VVAVES in the national selection. Later, she placed third in the OGAN Second Chance contest. This time, she took home the USF crown, which makes her the first woman to represent

Germany since VVAVES. Additionally, Cinta is bringing an Asian flavour that NVSC has rarely seen before, especially not from

Germany! Can you feel the passion rising?
