IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Due to a series of some recent incidents, we would like to announce that the WWW Song Contest will be continuing its 97th Edition, as well as its activity onwards outside the Song Contest Forums.The contest will not be closed - it will simply be continued with a slightly different format and on an "invitation-only" basis elsewhere, with less participants. We have thought about this step for some time now and we think it gives us more independence and freedom to run our contest. Regarding Retro WWWSC, the sub-contest will continue running normally by Laurinda on the SCF until further notice. Themed WWWSC will officially close, due to the lack of time for hosting it.We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we would like to thank the SCF for the years that we have used it as a platform for our contest.  |

It's disappointing behavior. They didn't even have the tact to finish the edition that they started before properly moving out. It's clumsy. |

I have been participating for 9 years and to be thrown out just like that without warning was very rude. The same goes for the other long term players who have been here for years 👀 I haven't spoken much on this on the forum as you know my thoughts on this already, but I did have to make this point even if the contest has been gone for some time now. |
