Cher Noble (Agni)
Kenya: I love the fact that you took a major risk with an acapella track. However, that risk ended up backfiring, as you can hear all the imperfections in the performance, and at times, the track fell flat because of it being acapella. Without a backing track, sometimes it dragged on to a degree I wasn't ecstatic about. I'm wishing you used more of your time, as it feels like you sent the first track that you found. But overall, this was a nice pick, and I am glad you took a risk.
Addison:I liked that you went with acapella, I think with the right song this could've been a winning MOMENT, especially as Cosima has such a stunning voice. But for me the song wasn't really there. It wasn't BAD, it just kinda went in through one ear and then out through the other it didn't stay with me. I could see what you were going for, but the risk didn't quite pay off for me this time.
Olivia: The singer of your song is obviously talented and has a nice voice. But girl... is this really the best you could find? You found this song within 20 minutes and it shows. It's not a bad song by any means but it's not very strong either, so I feel like you should've continued to search for other, better songs, instead of settling for this early on. The a-capella was interesting but also made me kinda lose interest in the song after a bit, because it just wasn't captivating enough.

Penny D.Lux (Josh Heart)
Addison: You are stomp stomp stomping your way through this competition and this was definitely, without a doubt, another SMASH. At first I was like who the fuck is this gentrification white lady and what is she doing in my presence, but go white lady go!! This really captured what COLORS is about both in the song itself, which was really pretty, modern, fresh and super engaging to listen to, and also in the significance of the song. Excellent job this week!
Olivia: Once again, I really enjoyed your song. The lyrics are beautiful and meaningful and the singer really expressed them well in this performance and it seems like you put a lot of effort in understanding the song and explaining it to us. I don't have anything else to say, great job this week!
Kenya: There's a reason why Quelqu'un d'autre was in my top 35 songs of 2021. TESSÆ put everything into this performance. It was captivating without feeling gimicky. It was everything I wanted and more. I really don't have anything else to say but leave some space for the rest of the dolls.

Bitta Pill (Jhr)
Olivia: This was a lovely entry! I enjoyed listening to it and her vocals, combined with the sound mixing, sounded beautiful. However, I do feel like this song is not very memorable. It didn't necessarily stand out for me this week. It was a good entry, don't get me wrong, just not one of my personal favorites.
Kenya: Now this is what I wanted. This was so intreguing, and I couldn't help but come back to this performance multiple times. I kinda wish the artist was a bit more outside the box, but I won't complain that much. Way to go. Keep up the work you've been doing, and you'll be hard to catch.
Addison: Oh this was gorgeousssssssss. THIS is what I came here for. Unique, interesting, but still so smooth and gorgeous to listen to. The artist wasn't the most exciting pick, but it definitely wasn't the least exciting pick either so I can't complain too much. Great work again!

Clamydia (Wysteria)
Kenya: I thought this pick was lovely. I really was drawn in from her voice, and I couldn't let go of her. However, I do think that there were better performances in this style you could've chosen. All in all, I don't think you did poorly, just not as well as the rest of the dolls.
Addison: Ehhhhh this didn't really hit the mark for me for this challenge. The song is OKAY, but it's not a particularly imaginative pick and kinda feels like a copout to me. She's an incredible singer but I feel like once again you've suffered from a pick that feels kinda lazy to me on top of the song being kinda mediocre. This just didn't give me something that another queen hadn't already given me, but better.
Olivia: I'm a bit torn about this. On the one hand, it's interesting. The singer's voice is unique, although I'm not sure I fully vibe with it. On the other hand, the song is also kinda repetitive. I got bored halfway through. Overall this is just the middle of the road for me this week.

Pragma Tick (Alexa)
Addison: I really wanted to like this! I usually like Dua a lot, which I think made this even more disappointing to me. I don't necessarily MIND well known artists being sent - I loved your Nina Simone pick last week - but the song needs to back it up and make it worthwhile and for me this didn't quite do it. It was another OKAY song, I was really waiting for the banger to come out but it just didn't happen. A blip, but I know you're capable of coming back stronger.
Olivia: I actually really liked this entry. At first, I wasn't completely convinced by it. Dua's live vocals were very intriguing and cool but I kept waiting for some kind of chorus or climax, that never came. But the song kinda stuck with me and in the following days, I found myself listening to it a couple more times. Your entry is certainly a grower, but I ended up kinda loving it. Additionally, after listening to the studio version as well, I think the live performance is even better, which is exactly what's necessary for this challenge.
Kenya: I love Dua Saleh as much as the next nonbinary bitch, but this is one of their weakest tracks as a whole. It was kind of one note, and I was hoping there'd be a delicious climax from it, but that never came. This was a minor misstep, but with the week being as strong as it is, that minor mistep came back to bite.

Chibu Khaki (Apo)
Olivia: Love to see a Greek singer for this challenge but this song isn't that amazing. It's cute! But not really any more than that. It wasn't very memorable, obviously the channel doesn't have any entertaining performances or whatever, but the song being just cute didn't help with that either. Not a bad entry, just didn't stand out for me.
Kenya: I know you went for representation but girllllllllllll, Miss Satti killed it. Her voice definitely fits the live performance setting of COLORS, and I was ready to buy her performance. I have nothing bad to say about this. Keep up the great work doll.
Addison: Yeah this was really nice! It was pretty and I think it captured what COLORS is about pretty well. I wouldn't say I loved it, I wouldn't say it was a standout entry this week personally, but I appreciate it a lot for what it is. Nice!

Cher You took a risk with an acapella song. However, it fell too quiet
I'm sorry, but you are up for elimination
