Meet the final 32 Fantasifestivalen acts
Swedish broadcaster SVT has announced the 32 acts to compete in Fantasifestivalen 38 that is scheduled to be held soon.
The winner of Fantasifestivalen represents Sweden at the North Vision Song Contest.
In a slightly revamped format, a total of 32 acts will compete over 4 semi finals and one Second Chance round, with the best of the best battling out in a grand final.
Popstars Anis Don Demina, David Lindgren and Eva Rydberg assume hosting duties this edition.

ABY iO may be a newcomer to the Fantasifestivalen stage, but is for sure not unexperienced in the music industry. As former part of the music duo Arrhult with his sister, he started gaining recognition in 2017 due to their collaboration with Swedish musician Joakim Lundell. After they have decided to go separate ways musically, Arvid adopted his stage name ABY iO and is ready to perform his debut single in Fantasifestivalen. Having represented Sweden at the thirty-third North Vision Song Contest with Backfire, she is no stranger to big stages. Being around since 2014, Dotter has competed several times in Fantasifestivalen, never missed a final and won once to date. Her entry this edition marks her first apperance in the competition with a Swedish language song, in hopes to return to the Northvision stage. Ella Rammelt's dream has always been to pursue a music career. Born in 2002, she started singing shortly thereafter. Recent placement is the single "Decisions" with KREAM for the Netflix TV-series LUCIFER. Despite already competing three times, including as her Swedish alter ego Junie, she has never qualified for the final to date and hopes to change that this edition. Maxida Märak is a Swedish-Sámi joik singer, hip hop musician, actress and activist with a special interest in the rights of the Sámi people. Her debut in Fantasifestivalen will be supported by singer-songwriter Melissa Horn, who has previously represented Sweden in the fourth North Vision Song Contest and finished fourteenth. Smash Into Pieces is an explosive five piece rock band with worldwide aspirations from Örebro, Sweden. The band gained national recognition by advancing to the semifinals of the TV-show "Sweden´s Got Talent" in 2009 but dropped out of the competition to sign a record deal with Ninetone Records. But it was only in 2012, that they signed a record deal with Gain / Sony Music and started getting bigger in Sweden. They are one of the most successful rock groups in Fantasifestivalen history. Born in the university town of Umeå, Tove Styrke was inspired to pursue a performing career by her ballet instructor mother and her father, Anders Ostman, who scored a Swedish number one in the '70s. Following the show, she signed a deal with Sony Records and gained an increasing critical acclaim as an independent artist resulting in her single Say My Name being included in Rolling Stone's 100 best songs of the decade. Clara Mae Hagman developed an interest in music early in life, and by her teenage years she was competing in national singing competitions. Clara has already competed in Fantasifestivalen, Den Norsken Sangen and also in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix before, where she ultimately won to represent Denmark in the twenty-fifth edition with DJ Bladtkramer and the song While I'm Young.
