Vanuatu Vanuatu confirms its participation despite the fact that it seems that Vanuatu does not have much hope of qualifying for the final as the competition is great. Nevertheless, hope always dies last and in this edition he will send Black Sistaz with the song "Mama Pasifika". The song was made for International Women's Day and has a strong message for women's empowerment. Singer Vanessa Quai, who has twice represented the small state, has also contributed to the song and the whole process. Timeslot: 3:17+

Taiwan confirms participation
Taiwan's participation at the Own Asiavision Song Contest 30 in Kyrgyzstan was confirmed by national broadcaster Taiwan Television (TTV). Having qualified to the final for a consecutive eight editions including three top ten results, the broadcaster has no plans to completely change their selection process and therefore opts for another internal selection. Artists are welcome to submit their candidate songs until early June with an announcement to be made within the same month.Posted on 22 May 2022 • Taipei, Taiwan
