Welcome back to Select American Song!

You are going to choose the host entry of Select Song Contest #10!

As previsouly announced, the theme of this edition is:

LA Summer Dance Party

For this selection, we selected artists based in Los Angeles and related to dance music.

Before introducing the entries, we also remind you that next edition's theme of our national selection will be People's Choice, which means that we'll choose one (or several) themes proposed by the other delegations. Every proposition will be analysed but one given theme may not be chosen, especially if we already planned to do a selection based on that theme or if the selection would be unbalanced.

How can you propose a theme? Very simple!

- You can vote for the selection. A question has been added to the form (of course you are not obliged to answer to that specific question and you can just vote for the selection as usual).

- If you don't intend to vote, you can still propose a theme in this thread.

The chosen theme(s) will be announced at the opening of next American selection (of course, I need to search songs first...).

Now let's discover the five entries in competition.

The first song is an association between Syence, a LA-based duo formed by Zach Montoya and Brayden James - the name Syence was chosen because they met while they were studying at California Polytechnic State University - and Britt Lari, a 24 year old singer born in Lima (Peru) and also based in Los Angeles.

Edward Vigiletti is a multi-dimenstional artist who became famous for a performance where he turned himself into Lady Gaga's doppleganger. He is based in Los Anegles. For this musical project, he worked with another artist related both to music and fashion, Japanese and Tokyo-based Alisa Ueno.

Our next contestant, Kelly Sweet aka HALIENE, is a 34 year old singer-songwriter from Cape Cod (Massuchusetts), currently based in Los Anegles.

MUNA is a LA-based trio Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson. They met in college at the University of Southern California They identify themselves as queers.

And last but not the lieast, Nataliya Nikitenko was born in Ukraine, raised in Australia and she is now based in Los Anegles. She is associated with the Australian twin DJs of NERVO.
