Tunisia confirms!
In the latest edition of the Northvision Song Contest, Tunisia achieved a remarkable 7th place in the grand final with the song "Mon cœur" by French-born, Tunsian-descended chanteuse Izïa. This lauded feat marked Tunisia's 6th appearance in the grand final ( being also the only North African and Middle Eastern nation to make the final in the edition), 4th top ten finish, and 2nd best result by points with "Mon cœur" amassing 278 points. As a result, it's no surprise that today Tunisian broadcaster Télévision Tunisienne confirmed the Maghrebi nation will undoubtedly compete in the upcoming 40th jubilee edition of the Northvision Song Contest hosted in Greece. Furthermore, it was confirmed that "The Tune!"—the previous edition's national selection—will be hosted again to find the country's next entry for the upcoming edition.
The above-mentioned national selection will remain identical to the last edition. Eight entrants and entries will compete once more for the opportunity to represent Tunisia at the 40th Northvision Song Contest. The competing performers will include an array of Tunisian singers from both within the North African borders and the global diaspora from neighboring Europe to North America an ocean away. Moreover, the field of songs will be in Arabic (the official and national language of Tunisia), French, and English. Rumored participants include Belgian-Tunisian global pop sensation Ameerah, but this is yet to be confirmed. The lineup of competing entries and their respective performers will be announced in due time.

A NEW DELEGATION FOR DENMARK
After the sad departure of the former head of delegation, Dimitris, who has created a magnificent legacy to Denmark's history in the contest, right since its start. Denmark confirms their presence in the upcoming contest under a new delegation, to keep the country's 100% participation streak, despite having to participate in the PQR round this edition. Due to this, it is most likely the country will select their entry internally.
A quick note from me
Thank you for letting me participate in the contest, especially with a country with a decent music industry like Denmark. Happy to be a part of NVSC's history. Yes, this means New Zealand unfortunately withdraws from the upcoming ABF.

Legendary Seka Aleksić to represent Bosnia & Herzegovina!
BHRT officially announced that the next artist to represent Bosnia & Herzegovina in the Pre-Qualification Round for the jubilee 40th edition, Seka Aleksić, has been internally selected from a total of 56 submissions received by the broadcaster, from various artists, native Bosnian, but also from diaspora. Several big Bosnian artists popular across Balkans were also interested in participating, this including Seka's intention to represent the country, following steps of other big artists who represented Bosnia & Herzegovina, such as Lepa Brena, Maya Berović, Maya Sar, Pamela Ramljak or even Anabela. Rumours say that some of these have also submitted songs to BHRT. Surprisingly, Seka has never represented Bosnia & Herzegovina before, while she only took part in BH Vision once. Svetlana Piljikić (née Aleksić), born 23 April 1981, better known as Seka Aleksić, is a popular Bosnian-born Serbian singer. Born in Zvornik, but raised near Šabac after the outbreak of the Bosnian War, she rose to prominence in 2002 with her debut album Idealno tvoja. Aleskić has collectively released 9 studio albums to date of predominately pop-folk music. She has starred in some movies, but she is also known for having her own reality television show and her own clothing lines. She will perform one of her latest singles, Pridji ako smes (Priđi ako smeš / Eng. Come if you dare), a provocative pop song with provocative verses, with which, according to coolradio.rs, "Seka thus made a real little music revolution and stepped into a completely different world from the one in which the audience is used to watching and listening to her". We wish mother Seka good luck in the tough competition of the Pre-Qualification Round, in which we hope that she will equally shine as the other countries!
