The 18th edition of the Nordisk Melodi Grand Prix will take place in Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland. This will be the second time that Iceland hosts the contest as they did so last edition too and got their first win ever.

The competition will take place in Some Building in Vestmannaeyjar as the town is quite small.

The host of the event will be Sigga Kling.

All Nordic and Baltic nations, as well as Scotland are invited to participate in the event!
The contest is scheduled to take place on 26 April 2023. Entries can be sent up until 24 April 2023!

Greenland is also able to participate.
Anyone wishing to participate for Greenland, please message me until Sunday, 16th April 2023!
Remember that only Greenlandic artists are able to participate for Greenland!

When you submit your entry, please remember, that the majority of the song has to be in another language than English! Please also include a timeslot as part of your post.

After thoroughly reviewing all the applications of new and upcoming singers,  Ruduo was chosen as the representative
with the song "Pamaitink Mane Menu" ("Feed Me With Art").

SVT has just now confirmed Sweden's return to the Nordisk Melodi Grand Prix with an internally selected entry.
The Swedish singer Hanna Järver will represent Sweden with her song "a p o c a l y p s e".

The island nation of Greenland have confirmed their participation in the upcoming NMGP, as well as their representative.

Naja P will represent the country with her song "Naasunnguaq" (Yellow Flowers)
