OFFICIAL THEME ART
Own Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union and the host broadcaster Vietnam Television revealed more details about the upcoming thirty-second edition of the Own Asiavision Song Contest.
THE LOGO
The art theme "Nở Hoa ✦ Blooming" is a powerful and inspiring tribute to women's empowerment in Asia and Oceania, drawing its inspiration from the recent winning song "1 Cọng Tóc Mai". The centerpiece of this edition features the butterfly, often associated with fragile beauty, but in Vietnamese culture, it symbolizes resurrection, longevity, hope, and life. This reimagining of the butterfly aligns perfectly with the theme's message.
The dominant color of this edition is purple, a hue known in Vietnam to evoke feelings of nostalgia, sadness, fragility, and tenderness. This choice of color reflects the complex emotions and experiences of women in the region as they strive to break free from patriarchal constraints and blossom into their full potential, much like a flower in bloom. The butterfly's presence further underscores the idea of transformation and freedom.
"Nở Hoa ✦ Blooming" captures the essence of women from diverse backgrounds, including Vietnam, as they seek to liberate themselves and soar freely, just like a butterfly, all while embracing their individuality and fabulousness. This theme celebrates the strength, resilience, and beauty of women as they strive for self-realization and equality in a world that is constantly evolving.
THE CITY
Hà Nội is the capital and second-most populous city of Vietnam. It consists of 12 urban districts, one district-leveled town and 17 rural districts. It is located within the Red River Delta of Northern Vietnam. A major tourist destination in Vietnam, Hanoi offers well-preserved French colonial architecture, religious sites dedicated to Buddhism, Catholicism, Confucianism and Taoism, several historical landmarks of Vietnamese imperial periods, and a large number of museums. The Central Sector of the Imperial Citadel of Thăng Long in Ba Dinh District was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010.
THE VENUE
The Mỹ Đình National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Nam Từ Liêm district, Hanoi, Vietnam. It has a capacity of 40,192 seats and is the centerpiece of Vietnam's National Sports Complex. It was officially opened in September 2003 and was the main venue for the Southeast Asian Games later that year, hosting the opening and closing ceremony as well as the men's football and athletics events. The stadium has hosted various entertainment events including numbers of Korean music awards and concerts by several artists including Blackpink.
THE HOSTS
As the theme of the edition implies, this will be an all-women showcase featuring four accomplished Vietnamese women from various segments of the entertainment industry.
