DIASPORA FEST 2023
Welcome, everyone, to Diaspora Fest!
The Diaspora National Week of Tsikinía is a week filled with celebrations throughout the entire country, showcasing the rich cultural diversity of the various diaspora groups from around the world. This vibrant event takes place from Monday to Friday, during which the unique cultures of these countries are prominently featured.
The highlight of this week-long celebration is the Diaspora Fest, a musical festival featuring performances by talented artists representing the diverse diaspora communities organized and broadcasted by the national broadcaster TSÍPB. This festival is complemented by thought-provoking speeches that revolve around the theme of the year. This year's theme is 'The Emergence of Each Diaspora in Tsikinía.'
Each government with an embassy in Tsikinía typically sends two acts to participate in the festival. One act tends to be more commercially oriented, while the other leans towards traditional and ethnic performances. This combination ensures a diverse and engaging contest.
We cordially invite everyone to be part of this extraordinary festival! To participate, simply fill out the form below. We would require the name of your artists, where do they live,and submit the song you want them to perform but, we would need a song with a live perfomance of the song. Submissions will remain open until Sunday at 19:00 CET. Later on that day, we will unveil the exciting lineup for each day of the festival.
