• Niamey, Niger  For this edition Niger has decided to look back into its past participations and send a familiar face. Abdulhakim Hassane or otherwise known by his stage name as Hkeem was born in 1997 in the city of Oslo, Norway. He mostly expresses himself through a combination of rap and pop music. He started his career in 2016. He is of Ghanian and Nigerien descent. He has also participated twice before in OAfSC, once for Senegal with the song "Ghettoparasitt' in edition 14 and for Niger with the song "Klementin" in edition 15. This edition he's coming back to represent Niger with this.

The third edition of South Yugoslav Music Festival was held successfully and the winner is known! Please, welcome:      (G)I-DLE is a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment in 2018. The group consists of five members: Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua. The group was originally a sextet, until Soojin left the group on August 14, 2021. (G)I-dle debuted on May 2, 2018, with the single "Latata" from their first extended play (EP) I Am. They debuted in Japan under U-Cube with Latata on July 31, 2019. Since their debut, they have been considered one of the most successful South Korean girl groups outside of the "big four" record labels.
At the end of voting, (G)I-DLE won the third edition of South Yugoslav Music Festival, beating thier eleven competitors, with  ILLIT and Yooa being joint runners-up of the national selection. This made (G)I-DLE the third group to represent South Yugoslavia after    NewJeans and Tomorrow X Together. This was also the first time the singers of Chinese, Taiwanese and Thai communities represented South Yugoslavia.
Their entry, "Superlady", will be the first entry since the eleventh edition for South Yugoslavia to feature Korean lyrics. This will also be the second edition of Binational Music Fest in a row to feature at least one entry in Korean. Furthermore, this will be one of two entries to to feature Korean lyrics, with the other one being "I'm Ready", performed by Chung Ha, who will be going to represent one of debuting countries, Republic of Nam, thus being the first time since the 10th edition to featured two different entries in Korean.

Personal note: Guys, you had made an absolutely right choice. I was relying on (G)I-DLE, IVE and Tomorrow X Together to win the national selection. (G)I-DLE's victory was the most deserved by far. I'm glad that IVE and Tomorrow X Together placed on the top half, joint fourth and sixth, respectively. "Super Lady" is a super strong entry by far! |

Well there’s something weird with the link because when I open it in a new tab it shows the same error. Normally the Imgur links should look different, and much shorter, idk why yours are like that sksks |

Belarus confirms their entry! (ignore the obvious Zambia logo) Minsk, 1 June 2024 Today, the Belarusian broadcaster Belsat TV has confirmed their intention to participate the 63rd edition of OESC!
Agunda & Taypan will represent Belarus in North Macedonia!
 Agunda and Taypan are two frequent collaborators, gaining notoriety thanks to their hit song "Luna ne znaet". The majority of their songs are in the commercially viable language for the area, Russian, although their genre has also allowed them to released a song in Turkish. They have contest experience together, most notably at Mystical Song Contest and Glorious Song Contest.

• Mariehamn, Aland Islands  Aland Islands had a meeting with themselves (schizo moment) and decided that they wanted to show off their culture and tradition this edition even though it might cost them the final. For this edition we'll be sending Ulvens Döttrar, a feamle trio that derives from Aland Islands and creates folk music. Since borrowing is not allowed we thought it'd be a good idea to show the contestants a little bit of the native Alandic sounds. Enjoy the entry and vote for Aland Islands!!!
