First up, it's Eva Máziková ( Percy Yates). Chae with a C:I didn’t watch the kpop week so I don’t care if the band had a different song in a previous week, as we have seen people in the past send the same song 👀
I’m not a fan of k pop
But I really enjoyed it, it was crazy I don’t know what I’ve just watched
This shows kpop genre
The first 3 minutes of this song is boring as shit
But j love the synchronised dancing and stage performance it is giving camp Eurovision which I have credit
It is exactly at 3:14 where shit hits the fan I don’t know what I’ve watched
But I LOVE IT, it is camp it is crazy it is giving very 80’s Nolan’s with the synchronised dancing and live vocals.
Plus I see the live stage band
it is all over the place, but I love it because it is so chaotic. I feel like if you got 9 drag queens it would be an amazing lipsync performance Jojo Siwa:ATE!!!! This being submitted is honestly fucking hilarious but I'm so into it. This is a great performance, and shows off the talent of TWELVE people being able to sing and dance at the same time for an extended period of time. Regardless of anything else, this showed off serious performance skills that some of the other submissions here simply weren't able to keep up with. Andrélle:Oh not a fan sorry.... the song didn't do much for me and I don't think the live was really spectacular either. Marina Satti:no. you could choose anything, and you decided to go with this. We already had a kpop week now let’s leave it in the past shall we JuPaul:Cute submission. I was hoping for Kpop this week but I'd be lying if I said that I wanted this particular entry. I really don't think it's the best Kpop performance ever, but it was lovely and showed that Loona are talented. Definitely a lot more solid than Hi High. And don't listen to Marina, Kpop is welcome in every week xx |

Secondly, we say hi to Daremyth ( Aglan). Chae with a C:This is a nice choice you are right this song shows normani performing this song but not vocals really well, I wouldn’t say there isn’t Alot of vocals as there is auto tune as you can here it when she talks at 3:30 you can notice she isn’t really singing at all. It was like you pissing on my leg and telling me it is raining than saying it is live vocals
But to show off but this is just style of R+B electronic music is mesmerising. I’m not much of a fan of normanis music except motivation and diamonds. this is a different style the performance is much better than the song but I appreciate this is a good performance but this is a game of where is the live vocals JuPaul:Ok so... the dancing was amazing. The vocals were autotuned. The song... meh. I'm glad that Normani was able to show off her dancing skills with this but everything else about this was lackluster to me. I'm not well-versed in Normani performances but surely there must be a Motivation performance that could've been sent? And you could've sent other dancing divas with better vocals and better songs too. Why did nobody send Beyoncé this week, hello?? Andrélle:This was.. fine I guess? Neither the song nor the performance wowed me to be honest, feels like a random choice. Marina Satti:cute one although you had a lot of better and more iconic performances to choose from. It was just mid of the table this time. Jojo Siwa:Honestly the only reason you're here rather than being safe of even high is because Normani was pretty clearly using some sort of autotune or playback during this performance. Normani is talented as fuck, and is clearly capable of giving an amazing performance without computer assistance, so it's a bit disappointing. She ate up that choreo though YUP!

Next is the lovely Miz Bulge Area ( alex(a)bg). JuPaul:At first I wasn't living for this performance that much. The cursive singing in the verses was a bit goofy to me, I wasn't feeling the vibe. But the vocals in the chorus, particularly the second one... I mean come on. Really really impressive! Overall not necessarily my cup of tea, as I live for big and bold performances, but among the understated performances this was a strong choice. Marina Satti:nice one it was solid, and it paid off. Congrats. Jojo Siwa:This is a really great performance! This isn't flashy or super intricate, this is just an artist performing the hell out a legendary song. The talent on display here is exactly what I was looking for this challenge.
Chae with a C:One thing I love about this song is the passion of sineads vocals, I don’t think I’ve ever watched this fully. I was dreading watching this and j enjoyed this Alot more. Especially everyone else live when this was recorded getting involved and indulged in the song. This is just sinead O’Connor live no awards and it is all you need. Also shows you don’t need all the fancy lighting, and dancers. And it is a stand out with other songs side by side with its performances reflects the effect of the uk 2017 Lucy jones National final performance Andrélle:Iconic, ate! Goosebumps.

It's time for Maxima XCX ( agni) now. JuPaul:Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, showstopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it.
Andrélle:Mother!!! By far the most iconic performance in this line-up para mi. Great job! Jojo Siwa:YUP! This was like the very first performance I thought of for this challenge. Everything about this is legendary. What a moment. Zero notes.
Marina Satti:I love this love hate relationship between us. This week you devoured hard. So proud of you, can’t wait to hate your next week’s entry again! Chae with a C:From the get go lady gaga starts with a story that explains for it self you did not need to write nonsense distracting it from the beautiful song and performance that it is
This is such a classic and brilliant choice
It is captivating, live vocals stage performance that speaks for itself, the correct amount of proper, vocals that are raw and captivating (lady gaga reference there). It has peaks and valleys you just can’t look away
I applaud you on your choice
But your text
I don’t know if I should laugh or cry it was a performance in its self
If doesn’t do this performance any justice as you beat yourself down as a “peasant” talking about lady gaga as a famous when the song and performance is about someone who is trying to get away from the fame as it is destroying her
It makes me ask why you had this choice and who are you
This is the first I’ve seen of you I can’t tell if it is a character, a performance or if you are on drugs but either I applaud you
Just take a little step back with your text and think as less is sometimes more

Next in line we have Toylet Swiffer ( Lᴇꜰ). Andrélle:I mean this is iconic definitely but sending playback for a live performance challenge was lowkey a choice... but Britney is mother still. Chae with a C:I’m not really impressed by this music as this is just dancing where Britney Spears is lip syncing
It takes away from the LIVE performance as she is just miming and dancing which she does brilliant.
I love Britney Spears love the song
But this is not a live performance. I don’t think it was the best choice as Britney doesn’t sing live but fair play she has good dancing
I can’t see how this is on the same level where everyone else has some sort of live vocals and still have performances. It is trying to have gin and tonic without gin
I’m not that Impressed overall sorry Jojo Siwa:Britney I Love You, but this was not the best submission this week. Does Britney always eat up that choreo? Absolutely. Is it kind of obvious she's relying on a track and/or completely lipsyncing? Also yes. There's no way in hell I'd call this a bad performance, it just doesn't stack up with the other 8 great performances this week as a display of talent. Perhaps a flashier number would've been a bit more competitive (like Slave 4 U). Marina Satti:you had the chance to pick the most iconic performance Taylor did and you didn’t wow. On that note, I didn’t mind your pick, at all, but I get why you’re here. JuPaul:ijbol I mean... Britney mother, Toxic iconic song, great dancing etc. but I feel like sending live vocals was kinda the bare minimum for this week? I can't tell if she's fully lip-syncing or if she's doing what most Kpop shows do by live singing over a backing track. If the latter is the case then Britney unnie must be whispering into the mic because all I can hear is the playback. This song being a whopper saves it a little bit but it does feel like wasted potential to me. I rarely agree with Marina but Toylet performing Blank Space, LWYMMD or Ready For It would've gotten high scores from me...

And finally, Kuchi-San ( david). Marina Satti:kuchi kuchi bam bam.. love this week for you this is so amazing and so fresh and still iconic af, you ate it JuPaul:I liked this performance. I don't care for the song that much but Jade did sound really beautiful and I also loved the usage of those lights at the end. I would've preferred seeing a performance in front of a live audience, as pre-recorded studio performances like that feel a little too produced for me instead of living in the moment (who's to say how many times they recorded this performance and cut the best parts together?), but it was still a very nice performance. Chae with a C:you have picked a very recent song less than a week of it being released
I love the studio version and this is my first time listening to the song with how good the studio is you took a big risk
You can see jades emotion in the song the minimal staging is perfect for this version of the song eventing the song I am speechless.
Judging this song is the first time for me properly listening to this with the hype of original risk
The way she owns an empty theatre and makes it seems so full and singing full. You could compare it to a modern day lady gaga + Madonna.

You notice every thing in this performance even with the manager looking over at the end as the tears falls from her eye I have a tear in my eyes

My only thing I have say: this is dangerously close to a produced music video but then again in a Eurovision performance have serval cameras and lighting (Bambi thug for example) you can’t help but fall in love this is a performance Andrélle:I have to confess that I'm not the biggest fan of this song.. The live is really great however but I did prefer the arena vibes of the other performances for this challenge Jojo Siwa:She's a lovely singer but I couldn't help but feel bored. It seems I disagree with some of my fellow judges here, but I honestly found this to be one of the weakest submissions this week. Also not a big fan that this performance was strictly for the camera rather than a live audience, a good performance is made great by the presence and reaction of the crowd and this lacked that.
