SEASON 11 EPISODE 2POiSON GiRL FRiEND "THE FUTURE IS NOW"Lyrics For this challenge, I've been assigned the ESFJ personality type (The Consul - Extraverted, Observant, Feeling, Judging)
This has been an incredibly difficult challenge and although I believe this song describes the ESFJ type the best, it is also very much out there and may not be everyone's cup of tea. ESFJs are known to be community-minded and outgoing people who strive to achieve a harmonious living. They are the first people to lend a helping hand when needed and they are incredibly selfless in their actions. THE FUTURE IS NOW by japanese DJ and producer POiSON GiRL FRiEND is a fun trip hop classic with - if you simply skim through the lyrics without context - incredibly corny lyrics containing motivational speeches, calls to save the planet and spreading positivity without much real lyrical depth. Usually, that shit would be an immediate chop but there is a quirkiness about PGF's delivery and her accent that just makes it work somehow. The lack of depth and directness really only adds to the connection, as ESFJs tend to have a set moral compass based on social norms and tradition and thus they have very firm principles that are easy to comprehend. PGFs principles are really just common sense: don't be a cunt, look after others, be responsible. Despite the ESFJ being quite similar to the ESTJ type, ESFJs overall have a far less "conservative" nature and I think that this song represents that distinction.

Good evening Sharpeninas! I know some of the other girls will differ, but I personally found this challenge very fun and interesting, I enjoyed browsing songs and determining if they were aligned to the personality type that I got assigned. The INTJ personality type is so unique and characteristic that it wasn't difficult to separate the songs that could work from the ones that didn't. In fact, I had some songs from the get go that captured the INTJ vibe from different perspectives, from camp funny songs to intense epic ballads. But the song I ended up choosing for the challenge screams -or rather boldly states, as an INTJ person would do- this personality type from beginning to end.
But first, I'm going to briefly explain what the INTJ personality type is all about. They are called the Architects, as well as the Masterminds, given their rational nature, analytic spirit and strategic thinking. They are very decisive, self confident and ambitious, they have a strong drive for success and knowledge, and their goals in the long term are quite clear to them. But because they are introverts, INTJs are very independent - they are the lone wolves of the MTBI espectrum, and not only they prefer to work alone, but they also disdain basic social interactions and small talk. They tend to look for efficience and prioritize their time, which means to avoid any conventionalisms. As a result INTJs often come across as rude people even though they simply believe they're being direct and saving others' time. They are their own worst enemies too, because they need a total sense of control of their life that any interference they did not expect makes them suffer, and that combined with their ambition can cause burnouts due to overwork.
The song I've chosen is "Haluun Olla Yksin" (Eng. "I want to be alone") by Finnish singer Irina Saari. While the title is straightforward, the lyrics go much deeper and reveal the true nature of this personality type. The song describes a person who has just experienced a burnout, and while others try to offer them comfort in conventional ways (Yeah, I don't need a doctor now - No, I don't need food - Yeah, I don't need a shoulder now - I don't need any treatment) the protagonist quickly rejects their help in a blunt way (Eat that chocolate yourself - Or go to yoga for all I care // Take that medicine yourself - or go to the gym for all I care). This is because they have the best understanding of what they truly need: solitude (I know what I need to calm down). This perfectly embodies the analytical and independent nature of an INTJ, even being rational about the cause of their distress (I have already gone completely insane - I suppose my hormones are troubling me) and even though they're suffering they're still thriving for knowledge (I want to be alone even if it's just reading a book). They don't seek help from others (You are waiting for me in vain before a miracle happens) because they know the only way to recover is through silence and introspection (I want to be in silence - I want to sleep for once // I want to stare far into the nothingness for a damn long time). For an INTJ, alone time is a strategic tool for recharging their energy, organizing their thoughts, and ultimately reclaiming their true self (Perhaps then life will win - And I will remember what I am doing this all for). They even slip an arrogant side note, thinking that their situation would also affect the entire humanity (Would the world spin without me if I loosened my grip for a moment?), relating with INTJs thinking about themselves very highly, that's why because of this fatigue they need to rest for a while (I just need to be useless now).
Well, that was a long explanation indeed! While I was analyzing the lyrics of the song I was so excited that it aligned in so many ways with the INTJ personality type that I didn't want to miss anything! To sum it up, it's not just the need for alone time that makes "Haluun Olla Yksin" a representation of a INTJ personality -which other personality types like INTP or INFP appreciate too- but the reasoning behind it. The protagonist of the song is very self confident and knows what they need, and they quickly dismiss anyone trying to help them to put in first place their own logical method for their recover. This decisive and assertive mindset is a very INTJ characteristic and that's why I think the song is a good representation of the INTJ personality type.
Now it's time to leave that decision to the judges - here's the song itself. Apart from the meaningful INTJ lyrics, for me it's a total rock banger but I guess that's subjective. I hope you enjoy it too!

S11E2: "Indicating Types" Send a song fitting your assigned MBTI type. Assignment: INFP (Mediator)
"The Kite" by Luisa Marion & Noah Floersch
People with the INFP personality type--Mediators, as 16Personalities calls them--are kind, soft-spoken, sensitive and imaginative. Though they may seem introverted at first, they are driven by a fierce sense of curiosity and creativity. They seek inspiration in everything they come into contact with, frequently coming up with big ideas and getting lost in thought. Mediators also value human connection, empathy and harmony--essential tools for creating safe, tight-knit spaces and inciting positive change in people.
I chose “The Kite” to represent INFP because it evokes that sense of curiosity and wonder which I can relate to, along with other INFPs! The narrator of the song expresses the beauty in their environment, yet still wishes to involve themselves further. Their wish is to go out and explore, experience the world for themselves; and while they’re at it, they could build connections and find their calling as well. The string-driven instrumental is soft, warm and welcoming, and it tops off the song to create the perfect feeling: embracing the world and setting off to see what’s out there for you, just like the creative and curious Mediator.

DYSMORPHYA EPISODE 2: "Indicating Types" Send a song fitting your assigned MBTI type (ESFP)
ESFP (Extraverted - Observant - Feeling - Prospecting) Entertainers are spontaneous, energetic, and enthusiastic people – life is never boring around them.
"Hart in Brand" by Froukje & S10 is a bold, impulsive and emotionally charged track that perfectly reflects the ESFP personality: the spontaneous Entertainer who lives in the now. The song throws you headfirst into a night full of music, drinks, laughter, and connection, as experienced by people who are emotionally wide open, caught between joy and overwhelm.
The repetition of the line "Is het de dj? Is het de drank? Is het de wodka? Is het de sjans?..." “Is it the DJ? Is it the drink? Is it the vodka? Is it the flirting?...” captures the sense-driven awareness of ESFPs. They don’t just attend the party, they are the party! With their charisma and enthusiasm, they light up every space they enter.
But "Hart in Brand" doesn’t just celebrate the party high, it also captures the emotional crash that can follow. "Is dit dan echt geluk of is het leegte?" “Is this really happiness or is it emptiness?” That line reveals the inner sensitivity that ESFPs often keep hidden behind their spontaneous personality. Under stress or after emotional disconnection, they can spiral into overthinking and self-doubt, maybe even questioning their worth. In this song, this emotional crash is amplified by the pain of a recent breakup, which lingers beneath the surface of the night’s & party's distractions. Because ESFPs feel deeply and seek connection, they often struggle with separation and their greatest challenge lies in facing interpersonal conflict, which can intensify these feelings.
The lyric "Ik ben altijd zonder pauze in gesprek met mezelf" “I’m always talking to myself without pause” speaks to that inner monologue; a mind racing to process feelings that don't always have space to land because they rather be bold, spontaneous and in the moment. ESFPs may be seen as carefree and fun, but behind their spontaneity lies vulnerability, especially when they can’t express themselves or feel misunderstood by their loved ones.
"Geef me je hart, ik zet het in brand" “Give me your heart, I’ll set it on fire” That line says it all; bold, reckless, passionate, and full of the craving for real connection. For ESFPs, there’s no point in living if you can’t feel alive. Even when uncertain or hurting, they reach for others, determined to turn every emotion into a shared experience.
That’s also why I love that this track is a collaboration between Froukje and S10, two best friends whose musical chemistry has produced some of my all-time favorite songs. They might not be ESFPs themselves, but their bond radiates that same vibrant energy. ESFPs are loyal friends, often the first to notice a shift in someone’s mood and the first to pull everyone together for a good time.
For me, "Hart in Brand" pulses with the energy, honesty, and emotional depth that define the ESFP spirit. It captures everything I now associate with this personality: the joy, the chaos, the fire, and the fragility that often stays hidden.
Hugs and kisses Dysmorphya 💋

LICENCIADA TORRES BEKA • EPISODE 2 Beka - "Tears" The INFJ is a personality type characterized by emotional depth, sensitivity, and strong intuition. They tend to be introspective and reflective, with a great ability to empathize and understand the emotions of others, even before they are expressed. They are driven by a deep idealism and the need to find purpose or meaning in what they do, which leads them to transform pain and difficult experiences into growth and learning.
BEKA's song "Tears" fits the INFJ vibe because it reflects several of the essential characteristics of this personality type: emotional depth, vulnerability, and a search for authenticity. The lyrics reveal the inner overflow of emotions and the decision to stop hiding behind a mask, which resonates with INFJs, who often struggle between adapting to the outside world and showing themselves as they are. Furthermore, she transforms pain into resilience "I've been here before and I survived it" a typical trait of this type, who finds suffering a path to growth. Finally, the hopeful message of not regretting each tear because "I'm not finished yet" connects with the idealism and faith in a greater purpose that characterizes INFJs, turning the song into an intimate and transcendent confession very much in line with their essence.

LAURA BIDEN-CITIZENS11 E2: "Indicating Types""Maskhara" Bashar Muradm/l: Bashar Murad, Gannin ArnoldLYRICS (English Translation):Two steps forward, And ten steps back. I see clouds these days, Where’s the light? The soldier approaches with a machine gun, What a terrible sight! “Going where?” He says: “Take a step back!” My fate is out of my hands, No one understands my way of life! But in my hand is a glass of whiskey, And it still doesn’t quench me! Pour another glass, Roll a cigarette, Maybe I’ll forget this mockery. Maybe I’ll forget this mockery, I feel like I keep going backward. For two years I’ve been depressed, Down and out! Have I been cursed by the eye? Or am I imagining? Someone explain! What’s next? What more? Where’s the sweet escape? Where am I going? My brain is tired! My patience is over
Pour another glass, Roll a cigarette, Maybe I’ll forget this mockery. Maybe I’ll forget this mockery, I feel like I keep going backward.
Maybe I'll forget So for this challenge, I was tasked to send a song representing the ENTP personality type. According to 16personalities.com, those with the ENTP personality type (Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Prospecting) quick-witted and audacious people who aren’t afraid to disagree with the status quo. They don't blindly conform to and even challenge social norms, pressures, and standards. ENTP personalities enjoy the mental exercise of questioning the prevailing mode of thought, and they take a certain pleasure in uncovering the value of underdogs and outliers.
They tend to be bold and creative, deconstructing and rebuilding ideas with great mental agility. They pursue their goals vigorously despite any resistance they might encounter. Aside from that, people with this personality type are knowledgeable and curious with a playful sense of humor, and they can be incredibly entertaining.
To represent the ENTP personality type, I've decided to send "Maskhara" by Bashar Murad, an artist that needs no introduction at this point. According to Bashar, "Maskhara" is about mental health, a cry for help, and escapism from the conservative aspects of society. It's also about hope, twinned with the disillusionment Palestinians have with current leaders – both their own and Israeli.
I think "Maskhara" as an overall song can be seen as a good representation of the ENTP personality type seeing how Bashar narrates the obstacles he's come across as a queer Palestinian man, from the attitudes of his own community towards his identity and how he presents himself, to the struggles he and many other Palestinians have gone through under the pressures of Israeli occupation, Bashar challenges the perceptions of those who wouldn't see things from his perspective, especially of those who have continued to see the Zionist state at a glorified and romanticized light, all while ignoring or even downplaying the inhumane treatment and the horrible crimes they have committed towards the Palestinian people. The message of the song is jarringly contrasted with humorous lyrics, its upbeat electronic instrumental and reggae-inspired chorus, representing ENTP people's perceived tendency to handle conversations or situations in a lighthearted and amusing manner.Once again, FREE PALESTINE

Week 2 • Indicating Types
Me right now with that challenge."Welcome to the Internet" by Bo Burnham« For this challenge, I have been allocated the INTP type, which is the acronym for Introversion, iNtuition, Thinking, Perceiving, and are usually classified as discreet, pensive, love spending some alone time and working on finding solutions to problems. In general they are knowlegdable and open-minded, but are very socially insecure. According to the wiki page I found, up to 3% of the population are part of the INTP group.
As for my song, "Welcome to the Internet", I feel like the internet is a place that would fit perfectly for them, like it was created with them in mind, a place where you can discuss with people over the world while remaining in your own bubble, a place where you can get yourself culturated and able to find solutions and tutorial to about anything in the world. The good, but also the bad stuff.
I will conclude my post with the chorus of the song, which sums perfectly my pick:

NEBULA OSSA SEASON 11 • EPISODE 2 INDICATING TYPES Lemi - "Daggers"
ISFJ (Introverted, Observant, Feeling, and Judging)
For this week's challenge, I was assigned with the ISFJ personality type. They are known for being loyal, sensitive and compassionate. Nicknamed as the Defenders, as are very dedicated and warm protectors, always ready to defend their loved ones.
They are fairly known for being warm and unassuming in their own steady way. They are efficient and responsible, giving careful attention to practical details in their daily lives. People with the ISFJ personality type help make the world go round, as they can be counted on to meet deadlines, remember birthdays and special occasions, uphold traditions, and shower their loved ones with gestures of care and support.
I chose this song for this challenge because it represents the traits of loyalty and compassion the best. The lyrics perfectly capture them since despite all obstacles that may arise ("Pull out all the daggers in my back" / "When all the world is tearing me in half"), she will always be there for her loved ones as she holds them dearly in her heart. ("There's nobody else I'd go through hell with" / There's nobody else I'd trust to hold me)
Hope you enjoy it, signed, Nebula Ossa x
