Armenia had confirmed participation in Eurovision Song Contest 2012 after speculations that they might not return because of the conflicts regarding Nagorno-Karabakh and security problems for a delegation in Baku. They was going to make their selection internally. They were drawn into the second Semi-Final and were set to announce their artist and song before March 18.On March 7th, Armenia officially withdrew from the competition.
