Chapter 1: Edition 1 - 3 - The Start of IFSC
IFSC started out back in January, 2013, as I was welcomed to what was then the ''OVSC Forums'', and had a test edition, named as the first IFSC in history, without voting or anything, as a teaser.
IFSC #2 was the first official edition of the contest.
It began with 12 participating users, including me, with 3 added songs.
The Belgian/Spanish Belle Perez won with 79 points with the song ''El Mundo Bailando'',
with me winning my own contest as the first user ever.
We went from Amsterdam to Madrid, where I decided to do the first National Selection in IFSC History with songs in dialect for IFSC #3, for The Netherlands, which came in last from all 12 entries.
The winner was the first ESC 2013 Participant, Germany's Cascada with 98 points, with ''Glorious''.
Chapter 2: Editions 4 - 6 - The expansion, the slump and back again.
For edition 4 I decided for 2 countries per user, to allow Semi-Finals as well.
It ended in 6 countries getting DQ'ed in the final, and Anastasiya Vinnikova winning with ''Born in Belorussia''.
Edition 5 skipped back to 1 country per user, resulting in only 8 countries actually participating.
Alizée won with ''Fifty Sixty''.
This marked the first back-to-back winner, Logan.
IFSC 6 went back to the format of the fourth edition, with 11 users entering the contest.
The "Feelings'' won for The Netherlands, performed by Fabiënne Bergmans.
Chapter 3: Editions 7 - 10 - Slowly climbing the mountain
IFSC 7 & 8 featured 2 countries per user, from 9 onwards only 1.
IFSC 7 & 8 had a debut, back-to-back winner;
JESC2010 won twice with Maria Mena winning with "Just Hold Me'' for his debut,
and next edition with Tony Maiello gaining the victory with ''Chi ha inventato i sentimenti''.
Edition 9 saw the first double winner in IFSC, NetherlandsESC, securing victory with The Wildboyz ft. Ameerah winning with ''The Sound of Missing You''.
The tenth anniversary had 17 participants with the first ever entry from an imaginary country, the Republic of Marsodia.
flaghungary Radics Gigi won with ''Úgy fáj''.
Chapter 4: Edition 11 - Becoming Worldwider
From editions 11 on, we saw more countries enter the contest, like Puerto Rico, Iran, Moldova and many other countries.
Italy was the first country to win twice, when Laura Branigan won with ''Gloria'', and marked the second user to win two editions, the host of IFSC, Jeffry.
Chapter 5: Editions 12 - 19 Mother & Son + The Dutch Era
At edition 12, I introduced my mom, now known as Antoinette to the contest,
and reached Third, Second and the win in editions 12 to 14.
She won edition 14 & 18 with the first 2-time winning artist, Bonnie Tyler winning with her Eurovision song, ''Believe in Me''.
Mrs. Tyler won edition 18 as well with ''Holding out for a hero'', both victories for flagwales Wales.
Edition 16 saw my mom's second Legend strategy pay out.
She send in Cher with ''Believe'', and gained her second victory.
Edition 17 saw the current record holder of the highest score in IFSC so far.
Josh Groban won with 125 points with ''You Raise Me Up'', marking my third victory in the contest.
Edition 19 was Grease Time, because ''You're the one that I want'' won for Australia, marking my fourth victory.
The Multiple Winners:
Jeffry - 4 times
Antoinette - 3 times
Logan - 2 times
NetherlandsESC - 2 times
JESC2010 - 2 times
Chapter 6: Editions 20 - 24 - The Adrià Era.
Kazucchi kicked off with the first win for an Asian country, with RaNia winning with "Just Go'' for flagsouthkorea South Korea.
I scored my fifth victory with L.A. The Voices winning with ''Loop Naar Het Licht''.
The first victory ever of which I wasn't proud, and it reflected in the sort of booing it received.
But to get to the focal point: The Adrià Era.
The youngest member of the now called ''Song Contest Forums'' as OVSC retired, is Adrià Puigdemont.
He won 3 out of 5 contests, and edition 23 and 24 consecutively, with the following songs:
Edition 21: Spain - El Sueño de Morfeo - ''Depende de ti''
Edition 23: Australia - Natalie Imbruglia - ''Torn''
- A pretty old song won, when the contest was hosted in my hometown of Valkenburg aan de Geul, and it fitted the title fitted the situation and how I felt perfectly. It was the best option in a winner, in my opinion. (Jeffry)
Edition 24: United Kingdom - Alexandra Burke - ''The Silence''
Chapter 7: Editions 25 & 26 - Multiple Hosts & Confusions
For editions 23 to 25, there were 3 additional hosts: Nick, Talitha and the era-man: Adrià.
I was out for a while, and the other three took temporary control over IFSC, and did an amazing job at it, and I thank you for that.
The votes were counted with the most used program, Scorewiz.
I issued that tiebreaks were solved with the average number of points received, while Talitha counted it via the Eurovision rule.
I decided since it was the 25th Anniversary, to allow both David Carreira to win with ''Esta Noite'', as well as Amber Kuo with ''I Remember'', both scoring 85 points, seeing two new users win: Alex and ESCFan13.
Edition 26 saw a new version of the theme song of the musical Fame allowing a DJ to join, when Switzerland won with Irene Cara assisting DJ BoBo with a remixed version of ''What A Feeling'', to give Antoinette's (Mom) her fourth victory in IFSC.
The Multiple Winners:
Jeffry - 5 times
Antoinette - 4 times
Adrià - 3 times
NetherlandsESC - 2 times
JESC2010 - 2 times
Logan - 2 times
Chapter 8: Edition 27 - What Happened?
Edition 27: What happened here is the question?
I can't give an answer, because it blew my mind when it happened.
We had 13 entries, with the number 6, with 60 points.
Then what happened is that the first 5 got 80 points, just in the edition I announced before it started, that tiebreaks were a no-go, and if a tie happened, all countries would win.
Because of a weird coincidence, my mom and me both selected K3 to go.
So we split them into Belgium and Luxembourg, winning both with ''Oya Lélé'' and ''Alle Kleuren'', signing for my sixth win, and my mom's fifth win.
Kazucchi won for the second time, with FAKY with ''Better Without You''.
/ Ilias won with / Monsif ft. Souhaila with ''Ik wil jou''.
The last winner was a debutant: Antwan won with the 1996 hit of ''Alane'' by Wes.
Chapter 9: Editions 28 - 30: Different Formats
Edition 28 was a Second Chance edition, where all past entries could go for a second grab at the victory.
South Korea won for the second time, with NU'EST performing ''FACE'', originally winning Semi-Final 1 in IFSC 19, and coming in third in the final.
Edition 29 was the edition for my 18th birthday. Party songs were send in and performed in a livestream.
Edition 30 was the second edition with a shortage of participants, since IFSC 8.
I asked every participant to send in 2 songs, and I made a knock-out tournament out of it.
MAX won with a cover of ''Tacata'', with the lowest winning score ever, with 10 points.
Chapter 10: Edition 31 - The New Era
Edition 31 was the first overhauled edition, with a new design, new voting system and introducing a new UserScore ranking system.
There were 10 participants, with the #10 gaining 10 points. From position 9 to 3, there were only 3 points difference, from 21 to 24 points. Left were two winners, me and my mom.
I took on a pretty unknown Dutch singer, Elz Bakker, and she won with ''Een Kater''.
My mom took a somewhat known duo, Mike & Colin, and they won with ''Het is zomaar zomer''.
Chapter 11 - #32 - The End: A big no!
Edition 32 had 14 participants, a record since IFSC 26.
France won for the second time (third with the award of ''La Jument de Michao'') with Joyce Jonathan performing her song ''Ça Ira''.
The United Kingdom was the auto-qualifier for the Second Chance Edition.
For the first time a song scored nil points in IFSC history, when Pavel Turcu scored a no-no with his German-sounding song ''Ihm Eurovision''
for Moldova.
Disappointment there, but they could be happy that they were close on some occasions to score a single point. Better luck next time!
Chapter 12 - #33 - IFSC Space Program? + The binding of contests.
Edition 33 started out the same way as #32: Not knowing where the contest would go.
The last winner, Fairystyle was the first to be the host of the next edition of IFSC.
And he chose location, slogan, and the things that needed to be done.
Meanwhile, host Jeffry got sacked and sparked the re-ignition of Rainbow Dreams Song Contest and Music From The Heart,
when they will be joining ''The Blight Family'', when the 4 contests will bond together.
The 11 participants at the time were very enthusiastic about the Guest Host situation, and will be continued throughout IFSC.
