This is a thread about the SaS-news related to IdahoTV broadcaster/Radio station: KHTQ (TV/Radio broadcaster located in Hayden)
Musical format: Active RockArtist: The AquabatsThe TV-Radio Broadcaster, KHTQ, has now officially confirmed their announcement of their second artist. Making it the thirty-seventh official SaS #2-representant!
The submission has been brought out by the internal tastes from the TV/Radio Broadcaster's HoD and the SaS-creator! Both of the announcements which what will show for this state and North Dakota are based upon the same format of Active Rock For this state, it's previous entry, who was Built to Spill and its rock-ballad "Gone" ended last place with 29 points The successors for them is actually based in the state of California! However the front singer makes the possibility for this state, as he was born in Rexburg, Idaho! Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to... The Aquabats. This band's musical style is guitar-driven ska/punk with lots of the messages being cartoony, hence the suit they're using as their main signature even though their actual identity has been revealed since they've formed the band back in 1994. Not only can you point on them for being original by music, their theme serves as subject for much of the band's music and as part of their theatrical stage shows, which typically feature various stunts and fight scenes with costumed villains and monsters! So if all of that feature will be coming in hand for the voters, they can see a hope for a final qualification! If they fail for their joker entry, which may seem likely, then the state of Idaho may come up with some other ideas, even though they're making a good job finding original artists!Read more down below and click on the specific link if you want. ★ Biography ★ Discography ★ Photos ★Song: "Fashion Zombies"Written and produced by Cameron Webb
The song is coming from their 2005-studio album, 'Charge!!', as the only released single and thereby the lead single from the album.
Although the album was leaked through peer-to-peer file sharing for nearly a month prior to its official release, 'Charge!!' charted modestly upon release, reaching #21 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers.
Johnny Loftus of Allmusic gave the album , remarking that the band had "refocused its musical and ideological attack" during the six years since their previous studio album:
Intact are the pop references, zany in-jokes, and Batman villain fetishism...But 'Charge!!' is much more rewarding musically. It doesn't loiter awkwardly between punk, pop, ska, and broad humor — it keeps the pressure on with a catchy guitar- and keyboard-driven blend of anthemic choruses and appropriately squawky elements. ★ Lyrics ★See them creep out to nightlife You see them walk the streets These children of the undead look dressed for the endless Halloweens And this horror like production, Takes total dedication Of black clothes and pale complexions Rock jet black hair and monster makeup And who can blame them? They walk through asphalt cemeteries Zombie fashions? They must have been born that way So can you hear me? Can you get hip to what I'm saying? These fashion zombies don't walk this world alone So lock those doors and windows They crawl the malls to shop For tight black jeans and spiky belts And scissors for the Zelda cut And there is no explanation These creatures are just victims Dressed in expensive fashions To look like they crawled out of coffins And who can blame them? They walk through asphalt cemeteries Zombie fashions? They must have been born that way So can you hear me? Can you get hip to what I'm saying? These fashion zombies don't walk this world alone Darkness falls across the land The midnight hour is close at hand Creatures crawl in search of blood To accessorize their black zipper hood And monster children with monster faces Are looking for love in all the wrong places And who can blame them? They walk through asphalt cemeteries Zombie fashions? They must have been born that way So can you hear me? Can you get hip to what I'm saying? These fashion zombies don't walk this world alone So can you hear me? Can you get hip to what I'm saying? These fashion zombies don't walk this world alone
