 The British Broadcasting Cooperation (BBC) can officially confirm that a new pathway will be taken for the contest NVSC 6. The broadcaster wishes to officially confirm today that a NATIONAL SELECTION will take part for first time entitled BATTLE FOR BRITAIN
Some artists have already been approached including new found indie band CHVRCHES, Bastille, Adele, Leona Lewis,
Cher Lloyd, Ed Sheeran, Susan Boyle, Katherine Jenkins and even Sir Paul McCartney. An official list of competitors will be confirmed over-time. The first entry to be officially confirmed comes from United Kingdom's partner chart - the mix charts - the successful three weeks so far in the chart for this entry made it an approach to the BBC to ask them to join. The first official entry is Indie band CHRVCHES (pronounced CHURCHES)  The song that they will entering into the National Selection is "The Mother We Share"
