At any given moment, the people in Thailand are standing up giving the respect to the King (Bhumibol Adulyadei) when this song was playing at the sacred arrangements in the country Even in the Thai cinemas this national anthem is playing too, before the movie starts. Some 2 minute-clips of the King is rolling, and all the viewers shall be standing up from the seats to share honor and respect for this man The blue color on the Thai flag is representing the monarchy, the white for Theravada Buddhism and the red for the people!

Yup, it was 8:00am and 6:00pm in the village I lived in. 8:00am at school is was played over the speakers then students sang it at assembly then 6:00pm on TV - basically stopping what you were doing whilst it played.
