Just under 24 hours left to vote in the Azerbaijani national final Üçün mahnı Nikki Jamal!
26 delegations have cast their votes so far with a total of 42 votes being made.

You can now vote in the Azerbaijani national final, Milli Secim Turu #5.
Everyone is eligible to vote, including associate broadcasters.
Voting will be open for two weeks so there's plenty of time to vote!

Date and time for MST #5 results confirmed

Earlier today, the date and time for the Milli Secim Turu #5 results were confirmed by AzTV via the official NVSC Azerbaijan Twitter account.

A TT room will (hopefully) be created.

Changes to Milli Secim Turu

A few changes to the Azerbaijani national final, Milli Secim Turu, will be introduced from the sixth edition onwards.

Firstly, following Marala's MST win, foreign acts will no longer be eligible to take part in MST. Artists must be born or raised in Azerbaijan or must be of Azerbaijani descent.
(This will not affect Marala's NVSC participation.)

And secondly, the rule regarding at least 50% of entries having to be performed in English in every other edition has been dropped.
This means that entries in each and every edition of MST can be performed in any language of the artist's choice.

Selection method for NVSC #16: Have your say!

Following the announcement of Azerbaijan's return to the North Vision Song Contest, the Azerbaijani national broadcaster AzTV is now asking members of the public for their say on the selection process for the upcoming edition of the competition.

Üçün mahnı...: Clue released!

Earlier today, a small picture clue regarding who will represent Azerbaijan at the
North Vision Song Contest 16 was revealed via the official NVSC Azerbaijan Twitter page.

The artist is set to be revealed on Sunday 9th August.
