Just over 24 hours left to vote in the second edition of Milli Secim Turu!

The results are fairly close at the moment. Your votes could make the difference! Voting closes on Friday 17th January @ 23:59 CET. A results video including a scoreboard will be made so if you haven't done so already, you can also send me your spokespersons. The MST #2 results show has now been recorded.
AzTV will now decide when is the best time and date to reveal the results of the selection.

AzTV to reveal the results of MST #2 today!

After a discussion with the winning artist and their management, AzTV have decided to reveal the results of MST #2 today.
Reasoning behind the early Azerbaijani representative announcement include plans of a European promotional tour.

Semi-final 1 & wildcard for Azerbaijan!

Yesterday, the NBU released the results of the semi-final allocation draw which took place in the United Kingdom. For the first time in NVSC history, Azerbaijan will perform in the first semi-final (in the first half).
Along with that, Azerbaijan also received the wildcard in their part of the draw meaning that they would be able to choose their place in the running order.
Shortly after the announcement, AzTV sent their desired place in the running order to the NBU.

Safura's "You & I" tour to begin next week!

AzTV can now revealed that Safura's NVSC promotional tour will begin next week!
Safura has announced that she plans on visiting as many of the NBU member countries as she possibly can with the MST voting countries being a priority. More to be revealed later on today.

Submissions for Milli Secim Turu #3 close!

Earlier today, AzTV announced that submissions for the third edition of Milli Secim Turu have now been closed. The number of submissions are yet to be disclosed.
More details about the Azerbaijani selection process are to be revealed within the next few weeks.

MST #3 announcements begin tomorrow!
Tomorrow is the first day of the Milli Secim Turu #3 announcements! Both the artists and their song entries will be revealed over the course of 10 days.
Some facts about the third edition of Milli Secim Turu:

• 3 former MST participants will return with 3 new entries.
• For the first time, the foreign act will not have a connection with Iran.
• 6 of the participating entries were suggested by broadcasters from a number of different NVSC countries.

Outrage in Azerbaijan

Due to the non-qualification of Azerbaijan in the NVSC with one of Azerbaijan's most popular artists, fans are calling for a recount of the votes.
One fan stated; "Talking to my friends from numerous participating countries, I've been informed that some fans were not able to vote for Azerbaijan as their votes were not getting through and were therefore not counted."
AzTV are yet of comment on Safura's non-qualification.
