To finish this whole thing off - italix you cannot simply say this as you literally just did: "omg you should use more reliable sources!!!1!1!1" > i use reliable sources which you approve of "omg you used unreliable sources mine are better!!!1!1!" >uses a source the --exact same-- as mine This clearly shows that you honestly don't know what you're talking about. Your point in this 'debate' has no aim at all and you have probably even ignored the sources I had provided, which complied with your list of 4 acceptable categories. But I think I know your aim now. You have a vendetta against the East Timor player because this is the closest chance, in your view, of trying to qualify. You're butthurt, but you're in denial. As a result, you launch a blistering attack against a country just to get it disqualified. There is more evidence to back my hypothesis up too: you mentioned the East Timorese conflict, which has virtually nothing to do with Jessica Mauboy. Nobody was having it, including me, but you still go on and try your best to confirm Jessica Mauboy's roots even though you must have acknowledged that the contest host still had full authority. Sorry to break it to you sweetie, but East Timor isn't going to even be considered for a disqualification. Now that's a debate lost, isn't it?

italix the council suggested that if you are going to continue your innapropriate behaviour and bring this discussion one more time you will reveive a strike, probably in both contests. You simply don't show any respect to me as host of the contest, create unnecessary drama and ask the OESC council members to disrespect my decision. I agree that this went too far and it's the only way to make it stop. This was only a warning, so watch out.

When you put " " and pretend to quote what I said, quote me exactly. To sum up, what did I mention? - Official declarations of the Australian embassy in Jakarta saying that Jessica Mauboy is from Indonesian descendant. - Official decalrations of Jessica Mauboy herself saying that she is from Indonesian descendant. - Multiples reports establishing a connection between Ferdy Mauboy and Kefamenanu in West Timor. What did you mention? - Sources that mention a connection between Ferdy Mauboy and East Timor and that are all contradicted by more numerous sources of the same or of a higher degree of reliability. So like I said before, end of debate. And what I am waiting for? Only to know the name of the legitimate last qualified from SF 2, whatever it is.

So like I said before, end of debate. And what I am waiting for? Only to know the name of the legitimate last qualified from SF 2, whatever it is.Again, you're completely dismissing what I'm trying to say. Instead, you're diverting attention to the quote marks I used in my post. You didn't say exactly what I put, no, but if you look at your responses to my posts then you can see that's what you implied. It's undeniable. Have you ever heard of the words 'implication' and 'hypothetical?" Don't act like I'm dumb. And what descent do East Timorese people have? East Timorean? Look very very very carefully at where East Timor is situated AND the history of East Timor. You're equalising descent and nationality. Descent is purely ancestral and has nothing to do with nationality, whereas nationality is what nation you are from. Sure, he is Indonesian but then again many people from East Timor have Indonesian descent. You're approaching this with tunnel vision. Jessica Mauboy acknowledges this Indonesian descent but this has no relevance to her father's descent. Born in Indonesia, but that doesn't mean that he may have been raised in East Timor which is stated in the sources I directed you to. Also, I'm not expecting a response but please think to yourself what the contradictions are. Also, you are again saying the same damn thing about reliablity which I completely blown out of the water a few pages back. Stop acting like you have won. We still don't know Ferdy's real roots for sure but we can certainly establish a strong connection with East Timor. End of discussion. I'm fed up of going in circles.
