They should continue with the same selection of these last years, in my opinion.

Generally I like our selection this year a lot better than last year's! However, some of the best songs unfortunately lack a little more depth that would push them into being the best they could be - anyhow, I'm still really content with a few of them EDIT: I've already changed my mind haha, I switched Simone and Julia & Nina around My top 3 would be the following entries (for now, I should say!): 1. Simone Emilie - Anywhere - Same as below. It creates a great moment with the chorus, but could use a little revamp. I liked it at first listen, I'm addicted at the third! 2. Julia & Nina - League of Light - This really has a LOT of potential! It could be magical if they were to do a revamp to add a little extra to it. 3. Teit Samsø - Step It Up - It will not win haha, but I just find it to be uplifting and fun. And just because I like how the mix of languages and the song's message correspond, my wildcard would be: Leonora - Love Is Forever

Quite disappointed with the selection tbh. Some decent songs but no stand-outs at all in my opinion Genuinely not even a song that screams "WILL DO WELL" like "Higher Ground" did last year tbh poll where

super rant incomingLast year, I enjoyed 9 out of 10 songs, and really enjoyed the high amount of diversity between each song. But this year? Jesus, it's the complete opposite. I barely enjoy anything of these 10 songs.
"Kiss Like This" is that highly annoying spanish-wannabe song, "Dancing with You in My Heart" sounds like the biggest living-room made song, which feels highly predictable and non-creative, "Say My Name" is just super generic pop, "Anywhere" barely goes anywhere at all(good title, Simone), and "Step It Up" has probably the most unbearable, laziest lyrics I've heard in ESC 2019 so far.
How any of these songs made it into the selection is beyond me. On the other hand, the other five have something for me.
"Dronning af baren" is highly ridiculous, but in a fun way, and it's somewhat enjoyable and stands out in this line up. "League of Light" has a wonderful verse, but chorus makes it look like they just gave up on the song at that point. Very generic and disappointing. Kudos for the Greenlandic, though. "That Vibe" is very average, but does the genre pretty well imo. "Love Is Forever" is actually very cute, and is one of the better songs in this line up, and the languages fit without making it sound like a mess (though, the winter-ish feel might set the mood off), and "Hold My Breath" (my favourite as well) has a wonderful instrumentation, and a good-sounding voice, though it still feels like it could have been much stronger than what it is.
In short; the overall quality in this years selection is mediocre at its best, and whoever gets to represent Denmark, they better hope for a outstanding performance in Tel Aviv, if any chances for a qualification wants to be achieved

Kiss Like This can be a guilty pleasure of mine if it has a messy staging
the others can't even be that
