A draw for Switzerland!

As the Swiss HoD confirmed the withdrawal, the spot is now free.
Because of the rising limit of users on the waiting list and several users who'd like to change their country, a draw will be held as "first come - first serve" wouldn't turn out to be fair at all.

Every user on the waiting list can apply.
Users that have already announced a switch for #33 or have debuted in #32 (as user or with a new country) can not apply.

Deadline to apply: 10 February
The draw will be held the day after.

Unfortunately, this means that Turkey will become free.

Today the IBU can reveal that the 33rd edition will be held in Barcelona!



The "Palau dels Esports de Barcelona" will host the 2nd edition of the International Music Festival taking place in Barcelona, Spain.
An amount of 9,600 people will be able to attend to the live shows. The green room will be set up in the arena.

WHO IS GONNA HOST THE NEXT EDITION?
Hamburg, Germany - Straight after the results were announced, the IBU started discussing together with SBS where the next edition is gonna be held. As obviously Australia won, they aren't able to host the contest as it's too far for all the artists to travel. Furthermore, the IBU wants to keep the centre of attention in europe. Therefor, SBS agreed on the IBU suggestion to shortlist the possible host countries down to five: . Canal Algérie, the Algerian broadcaster, already stated that they most likely wouldn't accept hosting due to budget cuts and an already on-going national selection.

Therefor, there are two  countries ( ) to be given away as Montenegro is free as well.
