(Co) Heads of Delegation
Welcome to the official thread for the countries' respective
Head of Delegations and Co-Head of Delegations
What is a Head of Delegation?
The Head of Delegation (often shortened to HoD) of a country is a person
who has the power to control the nation throughout its participation
in the North Vision Song Contest.
A Head of Delegation has decisional power on everything regarding
the country (s)he's controlling, but most
notably on:
| • | Confirming participation/withdrawal of his country; |
| • | Selecting his country's representative artist/song; |
| • | Guiding his country's delegation to the host country; |
| • | Casting his country's votes to the NBU |
What is a Co-Head of Delegation?
A Co-Head of Delegation (often shortened to CoHod or Co-Hod) of a country
is a person who was nominated by a Head of Delegation to help him/her
complete certain tasks concerning the country's participation in the
North Vision Song Contest.
A Co-Hod hasn't got much decisional power, however, according to NBU rules
Co-Head of Delegations are able to:
| • | Be part of 50% of a country's voting results (TV/Jury); |
| • | Host or organise National Selections for his country; |
However, CoHods shall not be able to replace HoDs in any way, which includes
not being able to cast the official country's votes to the NBU*,
confirming a country's participation or withdrawal*,
confirming/selecting a country's artist/song* or simply
ask for a song's approval when an Internal Selection is held.
*Rules apply unless the actual Head of Delegation is away.
(Co) Head of Delegations cannot be replacement voters in any of the
North Vision Song Contest events.

IMPORTANT! - Please pay attention!
From now on, the North Broadcasting Union demands every Co-Head of Delegation to post in this
thread whenever (s)he gets asked to play this role for any country.
Already existing Co-Head of Delegations must clearly post below their position
and the country they're playing as CoHoDs for, so that the North Broacasting Union
can make a full list and check individual voting results efficiently.
A CoHoD cannot be considered as valid by the NBU unless (s)he posts about it below
in this thread.
Various information
People cannot be CoHoDs for multiple countries, nor countries are allowed to have
multiple CoHoDs (unless the voting results of the main HoD are still worth 50%
of the full combined results of the respective country).
CoHoDs can't change their countries more than once every three editions.
This rule will apply from the next edition onwards (NVSC #19).
CoHoDs cannot be changed while an edition is on-going.
If any irregularities are discovered by the North Broadcasting Union, the Council
will give out strikes accordingly.
