Australia confirms participation in Northvision 35

Today, head of delegation Maaian Arditi has confirmed that Australia will participate in the 35th edition
of the Northvision Song Contest.

An entry was chosen internally and will be revealed in due time

Denmark has unveiled their entrant for the 35th edition!

Nordvision: Vejen til Rusland just finished airing – Danish entry known!

Denmark has revealed their entry for the upcoming 35th edition! It is the first official entry to be revealed for the edition set to take place in Russia.

It's a blinding entry for Denmark!

Nordvision: Vejen til Rusland finished airing just a few minutes ago. The show lasted about 2 hours, with previous North Vision entrants performing live in Copenhagen's Royal Arena. The guests included among others three-times entrant Aura Dione, North Vision 14 winners The Storm as well as current North Vision champion, Manro. Agnes Obel and Annette Heick guided the viewers through the reveal of the next Danish entry, with interviews from the guests as well as various special clips.

Eventually, after two hours of anxiously waiting for the big reveal, the selected artist was introduced by the hosts. Nana Jacobi, who placed 4th in last edition's Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, was revealed as the internally selected artist. After an interview with the two hosts, the artist talked about her North Vision song before going on to give a performance of the song. The selected song "Sneblind" was written by the singer herself.

Following long discussions about whether Lithuania should join the contest hosted in Russia,
LRT has issued the following statement today:

It means that LRT always stood and will stand for fair and equal treatment of all participating countries -
whether it would be or . The NBU has proven to be capable of
hosting a high-quality competition for years now and thus LRT believes that the union will ensure
suitable and appropriate attitude from the host broadcaster.

That said, Lithuania will opt for an internal selection and reveal its entry soon.

it's pure roleplay, no need to take it personally -- it's very likely somebody would call for boycott, had Russia won the actual Eurovision (e.g. 2009)

SLOVAKIA CONFIRMS NORTHVISION SONG CONTEST 35 PARTICIPATION!

After successfully hosting the last edition of the contest, Slovakia confirms another participation in Russia. We're glad that Slovakia is finally on a good track in the contest and even after a surprise switch of delegation (with Vukašin Đokić taking over), we wanna continue that success.
That's why we are hosting a national selection for our next act for Northvision Song Contest. And we're not doing it alone. Thus after 1 edition break we're announcing a return of:




National broadcasters RTVS and ČT are getting ready for another edition of Česko Slovenska SuperStar.
- 8 acts from both Slovakia and Czechia will compete in this selection deciding the 2 entries for each nation. It has been stated that RTVS also allowed one act from Poland to compete. -

More information about the acts from both Slovakian and Czechian side of the selection to be revealed soon.
