CROATIA CONFIRMS
FOR THE 42ND NORTH VISION SONG CONTEST.
A new head of delegation debuts...

Hrvatska radiotelevizija confirmed both their participation and broadcasting of the upcoming North Vision Song Contest in Portugal. This comes after a second straight qualification including a thirteenth place for last edition's songstress Miach in Graz. "SMS" has gone on to achieve moderate success in Croatia, scoring Miach's first Billboard chart entry and performing well in the Germanophone and Balkan regions of Europe. 

This edition should prove to be a landmark edition for the Croatian broadcaster, as this confirmation follows a shake-up in its delegation. This is following the leak of several documents detailing misallocation of funds by previous heads of delegation, therefore causing mass dismissals and re-hirings. The newly appointed head of delegation, Sujana Starčević, was one of few employees of HRT who hadn't participated in the defrauding of the broadcaster, and has received the job of HoD to great controversy among Croatian superfans.

Not much is known about the selection process, with Starčević set to open submissions and lay the groundwork for the selection before the end of next Tuesday. Several high-profile artists have expressed interest in representing the coastal nation at the pan-European contest, alluding to the fact that popular national selection Dora has been scrapped in favor of an internal selection. More should be known soon.

"Na Seversong #42" беше натпревар за песна организиран од МРТ што служеше како национално финале на Северна Македонија за избор на нивниот кандидат за Изборот за песна на Северна Визија 2023 година. На крајот на рокот МРТ прими 12 прилози, а пет пријавени ќе бидат избрани од едночлена комисија составена од Апостолис Карабиновски. Петте натпреварувачки артисти и песни ќе бидат објавени во текот на ноември.

Poland confirms participation in NVSC #42 !

Polish delegation revealed that they are going to be present in the upcoming edition of North Vistion Song Contest in Portugal. Before that Poland will compete in the PQR. More information will be announced soon.

SWEDEN CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION! 22 October 2023. The Swedish Head of Delegation responsible for the North Vision Song Contest of SVT, Jan Björkman, has officially confirmed, that Sweden will continue its participation in the North Vision Song Contest. FANTASIFESTIVALEN WILL BE HELD! It has officially been revealed, that another edition of Fantasifestivalen will be held in order to determine the Swedish entry. More information on the format will be published in due time. The Head of Delegation, Jan Björkman, stated the following: "Despite the very first unfortunate last place for Sweden in the history of the North Vision Song Contest, we think that Anorska represented our country well and did a fantastic job. Nevertheless we hope, that she will rest her voice now and be able to recover soon. Needless to say SVT is not planning on selecting an entry internally, given that Fantasifestivalen is still a major success all across our country. - Andorra will take part in the North Vision Song Contest #42 -

Given the top 10 spot in the 41st edition of the contest, RTVA has confirmed today that Andorra will be taking part once again in the 42nd edition of the North Vision Song Contest. No further information has been given, but rumours say a new edition of  "Descobrint Andorra" will be hosted. Stay tuned for more information!
