Finland confirms participation!

YLE has confirmed today in a press release that Finland will be once again seen in the forthcoming North Vision Song Contest.

YLE also announced that for the first time since the 29th edition, Finland will select their entrant internally. Pohjoisviisut will go on an indefinite hiatus and it is expected to return on the 45th edition at the latest. The Finnish entry will be selected by a jury panel and the entry is expected to be released in March.

Belsat TV is happy to confirm that Belarus will be present in  North Vision Song Contest 43. After poor results in previous editions, it is likely we will be experimenting with a new method of selecting our song. However, we do not want to reveal all the details right now. Belarus is happy to be part of the show once again.

Actually that was a lie. Someone hacked the TVR website and shared the fake news. In fact Romania WILL compete this edition and the song will be selected internally.

Serbia confirms participation in North Vision Song Contest #43

Despite finishing in a fantastic 7th place, there is an aura of frustration among the Serbian public over the country just missing out on an automatic qualifying spot.

Nonetheless, Serbia will continue to take part in North Vision for the foreseeable future. Another national selection will be held, but more importantly, RTS would like to offer bribes to any of NVSC 42's top 6 to withdraw from the next edition. You can never have too much Serbian whiskey

Kazakhstan it's BACK

The Head of Delegation of Kazakhstan confirms it's participation in the 41th edition of NorthVision in Montenegro , after taking a break for some internal organization last edition. At this moment it is uncertain if the delegation will have an internal selection or a national selection,but more new will be revelead in the upcoming days, best of luck to all participants

BHRT confirmed participation for North Vision Song Contest #43, despite apparent financial problems. The interest in the contest is still high in the country, despite the 23rd place in the grand final of the previous edition. The interest and the high audience share comes after Montenegro won the competition, with the contest being brought to Balkans. Zera's Alkohol i disko, as well as Tayna's Shqipet 2 have become viral in the country, being played on local radios and clubs, therefore the broadcaster is eager to continue the participation in the contest under a similar format.

The method of selection is announced to be internal, and it is already announced that the entry will be selected out of a shortlist of 5 artists that wish to represent the country. For now, there are no plans of hosting the national selection BH Vision, however, in case of supplimentary funding, it may be organized in the near future.

you have to wait to get to the top of the list. then, you get a chance at a draw for a nation. you'll have to wait on the list until then. 

there's also a rule that you have to vote in the finals as a member of the rotw and be an active member on the forum/discord as well. you'll have to do both before you are considered for the draws. 

if you aren't drawn for a nation by the time nvsc 50 rolls around, there will likely be another associate broadcaster final. here, all the members of the forum who aren't full participants are able to claim a nation and submit a song to potentially be a one-off guest nation. this is how we got hong kong in e20, australia in e30 (they became a full member later), and argentina in e40.
