The Hungarian delegation has decided to participate in the 45th edition of North Vison Song Contest. The song will be chosen internally. More details about the artist and the song will be revealed later. Stay tuned!

Serbia confirms participation in North Vision Song Contest #45

After qualifying for the grand final in the last 7/8 editions, there is no doubt that Serbia will continue participating in North Vision Song Contest.

Another edition of BMGP will be held, with 10 songs competing for a chance to represent the nation.

The selection line-up is likely to be a lot less experimental than the previous edition, as voters made it clear that they prefer the familiar sounds of the Balkans. We will only include songs of other genres [if] we truly believe they have to potential to go far.

ROMANIA CONFIRMS!

The previous edition in Bilbao concluded with Romania being declared the winner, thanks to the outstanding performance of Theo Rose, Domino, and Alessandra with their club and traditional hit "Nu mă duc la club." TVR expresses great satisfaction with this achievement following several editions of disappointing results and extends gratitude to all participating countries that cast their votes.

As for the upcoming edition anticipated to be held in Romania, TVR has not yet released further details, as discussions with NBU regarding the organization are still ongoing.

The selection method for the next entry has also yet to be determined, with additional information expected to be provided in due course.

Bulgaria is back, back, back again!

BNT has confirmed in a press meeting today that Bulgaria will be present in the forthcoming 45th edition of North Vision Song Contest, to be held in Romania.

Lunikk's performance has marked the country's return to the final since edition 40, and best results of Bulgaria since edition 38. Viewership figures for the previous edition has risen in a record number, battling out with Big Brother Bulgaria in viewership. Lunikk's impact has also reached nations like Chile, with a recorded fanbase on Twitter. BNT stated that it will be firmly committed to participating in the contest. In a statement by David Illiev Banov, the head of the delegation of Bulgaria in Northvision: "Slay."

BGFEST HAS RETURNED.



BNT also officially revealed that the music festival BGFest will be returning as the method to determine the Bulgarian entry.
Some time ago, BNT appealed to the broad music industry in the Bulgarian music scene to sign up for the pre-selections. The song selection is underway by a jury committee panel. BNT also highlights that all viewers at home, together with a professional jury from other countries, can decide who will represent the country. More information will be revealed at a later time.

Finland confirms participation!

YLE has confirmed today in a press release that Finland will be competing in the upcoming edition of North Vision Song Contest.

Pohjoisviisut will continue as the selection process for the contest. More information will be released in the upcoming weeks.

Portugal confirms participation!

Lisbon - November 8th, 2024

Portugal's broadcaster, RTP, just confirmed the participation of the country in the upcoming North Vision Song Contest after achieving second place in the forty-fourth edition. This was the first time in the history of North Vision that Portugal has been in the grand final for four consecutive editions (three time qualifying from the semi-finals and once as an automatic qualifier - which will now be two considering Ana Lua's second place last edition).



In addition to the participation in the upcoming edition, the Portuguese head of delegation confirmed that the entry will be selected internally and, although negotiations with several artists are still ongoing, the delegation also confirmed that the song will be fully in Portuguese.
