Türkiye is ready to deliver at the next PQR!

The country will be represented by İnji (Inci Gürün) and her song Hate Your Guts. After a disappointing yet expected result in the last edition, where Tuğçe Şenoğul and Lella Fadda achieved nothing more than an 18th in the semi-final, Türkiye now faces the challenge of competing in the Pre-Qualification Round.

BRECHTJE FOR BELGIUM!

After extensive discussions between the national broadcasters VRT and RTBF, the Belgian delegation has reached an exciting decision regarding the upcoming entry for North Vision Song Contest 45. Reflecting on our recent result, we acknowledged the unfortunate underperformance of Belgium’s first-ever song in Dutch. However, we firmly believe that this outcome did not do justice to the song or the language’s potential to resonate with a wider audience.

With this in mind, the delegation has decided to give Dutch another chance — this time with renewed hope to bring the language and its unique charm to the North Vision stage in Romania. Today, during a special conference held at the VRT headquarters, we officially unveiled our next representative:

Belgium's representative for this edition is none other than Brechtje Deckers. She's the creative force behind BRECHTJE, a rising music project that brings a fresh wave of emotion and artistry to the Flemish pop music scene. Brechtje has already garnered critical acclaim for her unique style. Critics have described her music as heart-breaking but also heartwarming, with dreamy synths and a voice so mysterious that it draws all attention to her .

Brechtje will perform her debut single, "Ik val", a melancholic yet danceable Dutch pop track that promises to captivate listeners and leave a lasting impression. Single comes from her three-part EP and has been praised as “hit material” that “burns itself into your brain after the first listen”. The song transports listeners into the complexities of a toxic relationship. Yet, with its therapeutic beats and ethereal synths, it transforms painful emotions into a release you can’t help but dance to. Belgium is immensely proud to continue showcasing the beauty and richness of the Dutch language in the contest. While previous entries have often leaned into French or English, this year marks a deliberate effort to explore and highlight a less-discovered side of Belgian music.  This decision reflects a broader mission to shine a spotlight on the underrepresented corners of Belgium's music scene.
