Only 125 minutes left to know if I qualified for the next round You'll only know when the match has ended. Which would be in at least 125 minutes, but there might also be extra time and maybe even a penalty series?

flagwhitelands Whitelands v flagrainbowislands Rainbow Islands Quarter-Finals *** Monday 16 February 18.00 *** Venue: Vetrovy Stadium, Zenit *** Referee: flagmerislaislands Quincy DeGraw flagwhitelands Tobbz v flagrainbowislands Julian
Whitelands taste defeat after astringent 120 minutes Against many odds, the Whitelands have been eliminated in the quarter-finals of the CFA World Cup, even though the Rainbow Islands had to make a lot of effort and needed 120 minutes to get the Whitelands down on their knees.
The tension was already noticeable from the beginning. Both teams pursued a goal without regard to the cost, resulting in an equilibrium most of the time, but both lured any chance and grasped each and every mistake by the opponent to break through and head for the enemy’s gate. In the 11th minute, we saw Zacharias Avery’s shot almost snapping the Whitelandic left goalpost in half. In the 16th, the Rainbow Islands held their breath as Martin Ødegaard’s header out of a corner kick was narrowly slapped away from their gate by goalkeeper Kevin Murk.
In the 26th minute, Whitelands midfielder Knud Kelli kicked Rainbow Islands player Lucas Martin in the chest in the Whitelandic penalty area, resulting in Kelli being sent off and Martin being replaced by Klaus Hoffman, who also took the penalty kick. Unfortunately, the shot bounced off the crossbar. Eleven minutes later, there was another attempt at goal by the Rainbow Islands, this time by Marc Highberg, whose direct free kick was held back from ending up in the Whitelandic gate by an enormous jump by Blaze Vere Martin.
In the 60th minute, there was suddenly Eduardo Whité face to face with Murk. Whité kicked the ball right past Murk - however, also right past the goal. Merely three minutes later, Whité was close once more by curling a corner kick so that it almost ended up in Murk’s gate, but the goalkeeper was alert and slapped it away with his fists. And ten minutes after that, Whité passed the ball to Ødegaard, who was standing in front of the abandoned Rainbow Islands gate, but the ball ran into a clump and jumped right over Ødegaard’s foot.
In the first minute of injury time in the second half, the Whitelandic efforts were finally rewarded as Whité scored with an amazing diving header. The Vetrovy Stadium, filled to the brim with Keyholelandic, Dasmian, Kordanese and of course Whitelandic spectators, hit the roof, but for a long time failed to notice that it had actually been offside.
During the extra time, both teams seemed to retreat into their own penalty areas, apparently trying to get to a penalty shootout. But one attempt at goal, a lucky shot by Zacharias Avery in the 112th minute, was finally effective and put the Rainbow Islands ahead of the Whitelands. The latter tried a final offensive, but it was no use.

flagneptune Neptune v flagsantos Las Islas de Los SantosQuarter-Finals *** Monday 16 February 21.00 *** Venue: Talis Arena, Leranograd *** Referee: flagpoplandia Audie Murphy Jr. flagneptune ✨💃 v flagsantos europezgal08 Neptune struggles with Los Santos, but wins anywayDespite strong resistance by the Los Santos players, Neptune has managed to kick them out of the tournament by beating them 2-0.
Los Santos prevailed during the first half, and was close to scoring more than once, for example in the 21st minute, when Angel González tried a diving header, but slammed into the ball a little too hard, and it ended up on the crossbar. Or in the 31st, when there was suddenly Leo Bonnet face to face with compatriot and Neptune goalkeeper Ármann Traustason, but Bonnet stumbled and fell, and Traustason kicked it away into relative safety.
The dominance continued throughout the first fifteen minutes, featuring an offside goal by Bonnet in the 48th minute, but it all changed in the 62st minute, when Los Santos midfielder and team captain Bernardo Cruz received a red card for kicking Neptune midfielder Luke Baryshnikov in the gut, after the latter had prevented Cruz from breaking through the Los Santos defence. The system to the Los Santos squad suddenly disintegrated, allowing Neptune to take over and eventually score twice, both goals claimed by Hamilcar Marggot: a header out of Bent Hermasen’s corner kick in the 74th minute, and a solo action in the 85th, thus ending the Los Santos dreams of the World Cup.
