flagengeos Engeos vs. flagkeyholeland KeyholelandGroup B *** Saturday 2 May 18.00 *** Rainbow Stadium, flagrainbowislands Arcenciel *** Referee: flagsanclementino Alexander Tono flagengeos 𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐋 v flagkeyholeland @aggrosantos2441 Engeos vs. Keyholeland started off with strong action: both parties were hellbent on keeping the opponent away from their own goal, even if that meant tackling. And tackle they did: one couldn’t walk for five metres while in possession without being taken down. Fortunately, the fouls in the first half were mostly not harsh enough to be worth a yellow card (only one was given, in the last second of injury time, to Keyholeland striker Haldór Larsson for a crash into Engeos goalkeeper Mikhal Ukras, possibly on purpose). At the beginning of the second half, it was clear that both trainers had told their wired up players to calm down a bit and focus on scoring. More chances were created on both sides of the pitch, and apart from the second Keyholian yellow card for Séimí Ó Phearse (how the heck did he manage to tackle two Engeosians in one fluent movement?), the players were much nicer to their adversaries. Perhaps a little too nice, because the match ended goalless, although substitute Krystian Kilian was fairly close in the 85th minute through a free kick given for Lars Clarkson’s elbow working, which had marked the third official warning for the same team in a single match, a quite controversial honour.
flagengeos 0 - 0 flagkeyholeland flagwhitelands Whitelands vs. PohunskiaGroup B *** Saturday 2 May 21.00 *** Sport Arena, flagrainbowislands Ostadar *** Referee: flagmerislaislands Quincy DeGraw flagwhitelands Tobbz v LoganThe second match of the day also started off with a lot of action, but not in the way it had been in Engeos vs. Keyholeland. After a strong opening offensive by the Whitelands, Jeremy Iason approached from the left flank, lobbed the ball magnificently over the approaching Pohunskan defence and goalkeeper, and let midfielder Jerk Henry finish it off. The quick lead was not undeserved at all, for the Pohunskans acted like sleep-walkers on the pitch and, when they finally woke up after about a quarter of an hour, started with rough play, which earned them two yellow cards in five minutes’ time: one for Alexander Sekzyass and one for Miston Deyonaz. After that, they calmed down a little, though, yet the atmosphere remained strained throughout the rest of the first half. The Whitelands still dominated, but had to be alert for the famous Pohunskan counterattacks. In the second half, everything was turned upside down and Pohunskia prevailed like never before. The Whitelandic half of the field looked more like a shooting range, and Pohunskia goalkeeper Nothina Pasina Us could as well have taken a nap in the meantime. Nevertheless, the Pohunskans didn’t manage to score a single time: each and every shot was either aimed far too high, far too much to the right or far too much to the left. In the 69th minute, Tyler Imacomen managed to arrange a penalty kick - and missed it. In the last ten minutes, the Whitelands took over again, yet didn’t create any real chances.
flagwhitelands 1 - 0
Bit of a situation here: family has come over to my place today, which means I won't be able to write and post any summaries until they leave (which will be in a few days). In the meantime, should I post only the final results of the games here? Or should I wait until family has left, then start writing and posting again? Tell me!

Using this method of announcing the results I'll be able to post them on time (i.e. in less than 6 hours after the match has finished) practically always. What should I do? Use this new, shorter method, or return to the old, more extensive method which could cause several days of delay? Tell me! Racontez-moi! Vertel het me! Sagt es mir!
