MONTENEGRO WITHDRAWS!

After failing to reach semi-finals in Saint Petersburg with "So Messed Up", discussions began on whether Montenegro should participate in the upcoming edition. Ultimately it was decided against the participation, meaning that we will not see the small balkan country in the thirty-sixth edition of North Vision Song Contest. A return in the 37th edition has not been ruled out.

I don't think I'll have the energy to vote in any NF's let alone choose a song for my own country (not that there are more than 5 acceptable choices hdgsfhdfgdh) Also I still need to find a job for the summer and finish the school year. So I'd rather give y'all one more PQR qualifier than be an utter mess this edition. Hopefully you'll meet Montenegro in the 37th edition!

SBS just confirmed that Australia will compete in NVSC 36.
The song will be chosen interally.

Estonia keeps going! 

Despite having to compete in the PQR for Edition 36, Estonia has confirmed that it will continue to participate in the North Vision Song Contest. Even though last edition the final was without Estonian representation, the viewing quote for the even in Estonia was still astonishingly high, leaving ERR with no doubts that the public remains interested in the contest and giving the delegation the green light to continue to participate. However, due to budget and time constraints imposed by the forced PQR participation the Estonian entrant for the next NVSC edition will be selected internally. But this isn't new territory for the delegation, who has proved in the past that it can still find artists capable of getting Estonia great results.

~ Bulgaria confirms participation in NVSC 36 ~



SOFIA, 23/5/2021 -- BNT today confirmed that Bulgaria will be present in Italy for the 36th edition.

It is highly likely that the delegation will select their song internally for NVSC 36. Organization of a national selection depends mostly on proper funding and the availability of quality artists.

NORTH MACEDONIA CONFIRMS!

Earlier This Morning, the North Macedonian Delegation team discussed their future in the Northvision Song Contest. Following a great comeback result reaching the final and placing 18th Place achieved by KOZOVO and NESTVARNOST and their song "The Feast", all members expressed their interest to Continue Participation at the Worldwide Contest.

"The Desire and Interest of the contest is still very lively in the North Macedonian Public. We are full steam ahead making up plans to take North Macedonia to the Next Level!! There are Many Surprises coming and we hope to carry on the success that Kozovo and Nestvarnost left."

The surprises will hopefully be a happy shock to people. Many things will be changing... is Makedonska Returning?? (I'll let you ponder that in your minds) But hopefully lead to the best for North Macedonia!

Moscow, the Russia broadcasters Channel One Russia and Russia 1 can announce that they will be present in the upcoming edition in Italy! We had an amazing time having the contest in our country and we are determined to stay in the contest. The broadcaster don't see a reason to withdraw anytime soon anyway. So this mean we will be present in next edition!


Russia's participation:
The entry will most likely be selected internally but nothing has been decided yet. Conversations are happening right now between the teams and also some artist has been reached out too. More information will follow!
